The property is in a nice location with lots of houses and cute hipster coffee shops and the belle epoque styling is very charming. They’ve definitely fallen behind on maintenance, though. There’s quite a bit of cracked tile and infiltrated water which just gives the whole experience an air of shabbiness. It’s a shame because it’s an otherwise very charming place

We love The Legend - stayed there a few times on our trips to Chiang Rai. The hotel has amazing location on the Kok river. The breakfast buffet is beyond amazing. All the food is special and fresh with local food options. Rooms are spacious with balcony area. All the staff was friendly and professional.

The best part of this place was that the gym opposite the road was free for hotel guest. And the gym is amazing. The staff are just welcoming everytime i enter or exit the lobby.

"First, I really impressed the staffs. They’re very helpful and friendly. Room is clean enough for the price but a little smell because from water flooded before. Not much amenities but reasonable price. It’s better for solo or couples travel. Not family because mosquito still around."
