Although Hoang Kim’s listing says check in is from 2pm - 5am we got our previous hotel to call ahead and let them know we would not be there until 1am. On our arrival the man could not have looked more annoyed that we were there, he quickly showed us to our room without letting us know the WiFi password or what time we could have breakfast. This is a nice small hotel. Family owned complete with a rambunctious 6 or 7 year old boy always running around. Says it's located on a private beach but in reality it has a medium sized pool with a small patch of sand next to it with lounge chairs. There are steps leading down to the larger beach but at mid-high tide the beach is non existent. There are a some nice local and western food restaurants nearby. Its in a more quiet part of town which we liked. Very affordable and decent rooms for the price. Manager was friendly and helpful. When we checked in we were upgraded to a bungalow (beach side) as opposed to the room we would have had across the road from the main resort. We were right beside the pool, the walkway down to the water & close to the restaurant. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning kept the room comfortable. The room a also had a fan which was great for keeping the air circulating when we turned off the air. The room service staff were excellent & accomodating of any requested we had. The breakfast menu was adequate and they cooked your breakfast to order. This hotel is located right in the middle of the main road that runs between Phan Thiet and Mui Ne (about 16 Kilometers). Walking distance to restaurants, a bakery, grocery store and some attractions (Ferry Stream). We took an inexpensive ($20US for the 2 of us - from the tour booth at the front of the hotel) early morning (4:30am,) "sunrise" jeep ride to the dunes, the red sands, a fishing village & the Ferry Stream (which we walked backed to again a couple of days later, very relaxing place to be). We also had the tour guy book our "sleeper-bus" tickets to return to Ho Chi Ming City after our stay - $6US each (less than half what we paid to come here) - pick you up right at the hotel.
