House with lots of charm and large swimming pool

  • The house dates from 1813, but was renovated in 2014, respecting the authentic elements (exposed stones, tomettes, old decorative tiles, ...). There is a large terrace, a swimming pool (9 x 4 m) and a large garden (1300m2), planted with trees and surrounded by ancient walls.

    At the same time the house has all the comforts: new kitchen with oven, microwave, dishwasher, new bathroom, laundry room with washing machine, dryer, ... There is a living area of 180 m2.

    There are 3 bedrooms: a 180 cm bed, two 160 cm beds. In addition a desk with sofa bed.

    The house is located in a very quiet hamlet between the vineyards, but the center of the village is only 2.5 km away where there is a baker, a convenience store, a pharmacy, ... The city of Carcasonne is 20 min.

    English version: The house dates from 1813, but has been renovated in 2014, with respect for authentic elements (ancient stones and floors, ...). The house has a big terrace, a swimming pool (9 x 4 m) and a big garden (1300 m2), with trees and moreover, the entire garden is surrounded by an ancient wall, guaranteeing a lot of privacy.

    At the same time, the house boasts a lot of comfort: new kitchen with oven, microwave oven, dishwasher; a new bathroom; storage room with washing machine and dryer, ... The house has a habitable space of 180 m2.

    There are 3 bedrooms: 1 with a double bed of 180 cm and twice a bed of 160 cm. On top there is a sofa bed in a separate office.

    The house is located in a very calm hamlet surrounded by vines, but the city center is only 2,5 km away, where you can find a bakery, a small supermarket, a pharmacy, ... The city of Carcassonne is only 20 minutes driving from the house.

Beautiful villa in peaceful hamlet

We enjoyed a few days at this beautiful villa. It was exactly as described and is furnished and decorated to a high standard. The garden is large and planted with many gorgeous flowers, with several different seating areas and plenty of spots perfect for photos 😀 Ann was very responsive and helpful before, during and after our stay. Would highly recommend and would use again when visiting this area of France.

A tranquil stay

We had a very relaxing stay in this beautiful villa. Villa was very clean on arrival and we were greeted by the friendly Aurelie. We enjoyed relaxing in the large enclosed garden with plenty of shady spots, lots of space inside as well. Well equipped kitchen, everything you need for a perfect relaxing getaway. The hamlet and location is very quiet and peaceful and a short drive away to plenty of restaurants, bakeries and supermarkets. Ann is a wonderful host with excellent communication, thank you.

Amazing house in the countryside

If you’re looking for a true French countryside break, this is the place for you. The house, dating from the early 19th century, is immaculate and situated in a hamlet surrounded by vineyards. It’s about 7 minutes drive from the nearest town where we went every day to get fresh bread. The owners have put a lot of love into the property and it has everything you need to have a relaxing stay. Our kids loved the pool, the huge garden, and having bbqs on the patio. We would definitely visit again.

Beautiful house and garden in peaceful area

Very relaxing stay. The house is charming and spacious with a large well equipped kitchen. The garden is very big and swimming in the pool surrounded by flowers and trees was a delight - very private There are several sitting areas in shade outside, as well as a large table. The hamlet is very quiet. Lots of restaurants a short drive away and pretty countryside around with plenty of places of interest to visit. Coast not far. Very hot when we were there so be prepared for mosquitoes. The owner was always available to message with any enquiries. Altogether excellent visit.

Magnifique maison ancienne délicieusement rénovée et meublée avec soin. Ann est toujours disponible pour répondre à la moindre question. Les chambres sont spacieuses et la literie confortable. Le jardin, l’espace déjeuner et la piscine sont splendides et très agréables. Seul le hameau autour est un peu triste et les maisons environnantes manquent d'entretien. Belle maison avec un espace extérieur spacieux dans un endroit très calme.

Le quartier est très calme et a beaucoup de charme. L'espace dans la maison est très généreux. Quant au style de la maison, les photos tiennent leurs promesses. L'espace extérieur est d'une beauté fantastique, grande piscine et des tilleuls, un figuier et un olivier qui offrent une belle ombre. De nombreux objets du quotidien étaient déjà là, ce qui est très pratique. Petit reproche : le fond de la piscine aurait pu être un peu plus propre et les panneaux du bord de la piscine auraient dû être refaits. Sinon, l'offre tient ses promesses.

Très belle maison ancienne rénovée avec beaucoup de goût, un jardin et une piscine bien entretenu, de l'espace, du confort (sauf le sofa/lit qui suffit pour un jeune enfant ;) Ann est disponible, chaleureuse et attentionnée. Superbe maison où rien ne manque. Vacances reposantes autour de la piscine dans une région à découvrir. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour, la maison est splendide avec beaucoup d’espace, les lits sont confortables, la cuisine est complète permettant de réaliser de bons petits plats. Belles vacances dans cette magnifique maison de charme au milieu des vignes

Nous avons passé 6 jours dans cette charmante vieille bâtisse parfaitement rénovée: Le charme du passée est habilement combinée au confort moderne, et les chambres sont aménagées avec beaucoup de soin et de goût. La grande cuisine moderne ouverte aux couleurs joyeuses est bien équipée, un vrai plus pour ceux qui aiment cuisiner et se régaler! Le jardin avec sa piscine sont idéales pour se détendre et profiter du soleil - ou pour prendre un apéritif sous l'olivier avant de passer à table sur la terrasse. Ayant des enfants, nous avons apprécié la possibilité de laver (et sécher!) le linge.

Glorious stay in France

This house is just as beautiful as it seems on the photos and has been very tastefully renovated. We really enjoyed just chilling out by the pool or around the table in the evenings with a glass or two of the excellent local wine. The cooking facilities were perfect and equipped with everything you could need for creating complete meals. The house is in a very quiet hamlet with almost no noise at all so all in all a lovely hidden gem. We would definitely recommend this for any length of stay as we loved it so much.

Séjour en famille au mois d’aout

Nous avons passé deux semaines très agréables avec nos deux enfants dans cette magnifique maison au mois d’aout. Confort moderne dans un lieu plein de charme et de tranquillité. Jardin et piscine sublimes. Et beaucoup de choses à voir dans la région. A louer sans hésiter.
