"I only rated it four stars because the hotel is dated. However, I'm certain that in its heyday, it must have been so elegant. The food was very good, and the food and drink coupons were very generous. Though I only rated it 4 stars, I would definitely return."

"This was a nice spot for a quick overnight stay. If you are looking for a property with amenities this is not it. All in all it served its purpose. The staff was very accommodating and communicated in a timely manner."

"The hotel is located about 2 miles from central Petosky, out in the countryside, away from the main activities of the city. The hotel is modern, comfortable, well maintained, and has a distinct hipster vibe. We were hoping to see Little Traverse Bay from the hotel, but the view was surprisingly blocked by tall evergreen trees. The rooms were comfortable and spacious and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean and spacious and the shower was very good. The WiFi was easy to connect to and the signal was decent. The staff was somewhat attentive and friendly but a little too laid back to provide a sense of professionalism. This is probably preferred by Millennial Hipsters :) The cost was outrageous: $500 per night for a room with 2 queen beds. Although our stay was pleasant, I probably would not stay here again due to the distance from Petosky and the cost."

"Clean hotel, nice location comfy king bed good air conditioning but no hand soap but good shower with a ledge for shaving which is a must !! Large room pretty quiet , pool and hot tub but a group was hogging it and we never got to go in it! Nice stay but way overpriced "

"It was an awesome experience! The owner was incredibly kind and accommodating. It's a beautiful and private little rustic getaway. The mosquitos and flies weren't even an issue, considering how wooded the area is. The decor is charming. We had a lovely time. The owners provided everything needed for the retreat. The privacy is amazing! Our only very minor issue was the bed in the cabin. It's comfortable on both sides, but not in the middle. I'm not sure if it's a king size or two twins put together. But we're not used to sleeping that far apart... Please don't let this discourage you in any way; it was well worth the stay. The upside is that our dog had a whole lot of space between us! The shower and bathroom at the guesthouse are clean and charming, as is the coffee service area. Despite the bed being a little on the rough side, we still give it five stars! We'll probably go again next summer. Enjoy!"
