The man at the hotel reception was very kind to me and my pup during our stay. He even helped us with the air conditioning unit in our room. Although I wasn't aware of the hotel's ongoing renovations when I made the reservation, I was not bothered by any construction work during my stay.
Service was good, room was clean, but the property was in poor shape, elevator sounded rough and unsafe, and the area wasn’t great. Breakfast was terrible but for a 1 night, in and out, it did the job.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was what you would expect for the price point. The pool was a bit cold and a hot tub would be a nice option. There are plenty of amenities close by and the hotel is easy to access.
The room was generally clean- definitely not spotless. We were on the main floor and found it nice and quiet. We also had plenty of hot water for showers. I would consider staying again.

Staff were exceptionally friendly. Great size of room felt pretty spacious. Hotel was within easy walking distance of everything and clean. Breakfast was good as well as access to drinks all day. A good place to stay to get your bearings. Good memories from a week long stay.

When we checked in there was no hot water, but that was something they could not help. The next morning still no hot water, thus no shower. The next morning the water was warm at best.

Hello Sir, I am very sorry for the inconvenience that you experienced last night. Our hot water circulation pump went down at 8pm last night. I was able to over ride the pump when I got back to the hotel but the water had to run for 5 minutes before the water got hot in the rooms. Given that they are in three middle of renovations, the place was still kept very tidy, the room I got had a strange layout but since the Reno is starting at the top and heading down I'll not hold that against them at this time

Nice affordable place to stay in Peterborough. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Everything was in working order. The staff that we interacted with were friendly. The hot tub in the room was nice. The breakfast had a good selection of cold food as well as hot food like scrambled eggs, sausages, and waffles. The only thing I didn't like was the packaged fruit cup, it was very bland.
The pool is not big, we didn't try it but saw families with kids in it having a good time. Would stay there again if ever in town.

Staff are so nice and helpful. Very quiet in room. No banging doors in hallway to startle you. Room was exceptional. Clean and lots hot water. Recomend to all.

went for a girls weekend and had a great stay. AC worked great, shower was great - water temp was good and pressure was also great. Clean rooms. Breakfast was amazing. Friendly staff.

Property worn down. Pool was freezing for the kids.
Door keys barely worked. My door wouldn’t properly close. Smoke alarms went off at 7am and everyone had to evacuate. Nothing from the managers were able to help compensate this inconvenience.

We did have a fire alarm go off (was knocked accidentally) but the staff were so nice and kind to everyone letting us know the details.

Really wanted to enjoy this place as the room itself was nice and large and location of the hotel was good.
Hand towels & face cloths hung dirty in the bathroom, how it was unnoticed by cleaning staff is beyond me as they were “folded” into a fan like shape.
Garbage in the kitchen cupboards, leftover plates with bagel seasoning on them.
Upon checking out the lady at the front desk was either busy and rushing guests along or just didn’t care to ask how the stay was. Because of her rushing attitude bringing these issues forward was not an option.
Will definitely be in contact with a manager to send in photos and hope this doesn’t happen to other guest.

Staff that welcomed us was excellent. Jake (?) was very friendly and offered information about the city and was quick to solve issues with room such as room keys not working, more pilllows and setting the tv up so we could watch Netflix. Rooms were ok. Bathroom had black spots on grout in the showers. Continental breakfast was very lacking. My son tried the waffle maker but they came out under cooked and tasted sour. Informed the attendant and they changed out the batter from the dispenser. I assume the batter was going bad. There was no fruit offered but the other items were sufficient.

We had to wear socks on the very old and torn carpet. The vanity and carpet were dirty. The walls were dirty and marked up. This place desperately needs an update. Very run down.
