Tri Century Mill Suites

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Tri Century Mill Suites. The room and hotel were clean, the staff were lovely, and the location was excellent. Situated on a little island, all you can hear outside is the sound of the flowing river, making it a peaceful place to stay. We would consider returning! A few things could be improved, particularly while the hotel is under construction. There was no designated front desk, and since the building also contains apartments, it wasn't clear where to check in. We eventually found a sign on an empty bar instructing us to call a number, and a staff member checked us in from a small room using a laptop. Everyone was friendly, but clearer signage would help. We also found the early check-in fees excessive: $60 to check in two hours early or $40 for one hour. We were allowed to check in around 1:30 p.m. but couldn't access our room until 4 p.m. We were only staying one night for our anniversary, with dinner reservations and plans to visit Saunders Farm, so we felt rushed and didn't get to enjoy our room until after 8:30 p.m. We were also told we could request a TV for our room. I messaged ahead of time to request one but never received a response. I forgot to follow up at check-in, so we ended up without one. Not a major issue, but better communication would have been appreciated. Despite these minor frustrations, we had a lovely stay and look forward to seeing the hotel and surrounding area once construction is complete."
