"The property felt very dated, and the lack of upkeep was noticeable especially in the bathroom, where the paint was chipped and peeling. It gave the space an unclean and neglected feel. Another downside was the absence of basic amenities you’d typically expect, such as complimentary water. Unfortunately, the condition of the room and the lack of thoughtful touches made the stay less comfortable than it should have been."

"The stay was ok. The hotel is located in the CBD area, but in a quiet place. The rooms are decent in size. The buffet breakfast is a bit expensive for the type of spread served. The room we stayed did not have hangers or stands in the bathroom and floor mats making it incovenient to dress after a shower. There was no partition between shower area and dry area making water splash over to the dry area. No bathroom slippers and floor mats are provided to dry the feet before going to the dressing area. The air conditioner control panel did not have provision to adjust the fan speed, making teperature inside the room difficult to control. When set at 24deg, the room feels warm at night, but when set at 22deg, makes the room too chill to sleep. There were few minor issues that I don't remember now. Please look into these suggestions. "A large portion of this hotel's business seems to be fly in fly out workers and as such they get priority. We were told to turn down our television at 8 pm when it wasn't overly loud. We didn't know there were FIFO workers sleeping next door. As mentioned in other reviews the sound proofing in the rooms is poor. At 1.50 am I was awakened by the alarm in the room next door. For the next 40 minutes this person showered and got ready for work. I went and asked the night manager to speak to them about the noise but he didn't. At 2.30 am they left their room and not quietly. I went out to see numerous Air Asia staff leaving for work, they made very little effort to be quiet. I went and asked the night manager to speak to them about how noisy they were but he just looked at me confused. At 3.30 am I was again woken up by a lot of noise next door. I got up to find two staff cleaning the room. When I enquired why they said guests were arriving soon to check in. It seems FIFO workers check out around 2.30 am and others check in around 4 am. If you are a fan of sleeping at night this may be difficult. The rooms are very dated and basic and the bed we had was terrible, not secured to the wall so it moved. When you sat on it, it sagged badly. They don't advertise it but when we arrived we were told they don't clean / make up the rooms unless you specifically request it."

"The location downtown was safer than I had expected. Having 7/11 and McDonald's within 2 blocks was very convenient. Most bus and train options can be reached within 2 blocks from the hotel as well."

"Great place to stay, customer service one of the best and have a heated pool which was great to swim and jump. Very good breakfast and nice bar."
