About this property
Varden House - Peace and tranquillity in a beautifully converted Victorian barn
Varden House is a spacious and comfortable place for 6 guests to relax and enjoy their stay, set in 100 acres of farmland and converted from original Victorian farm buildings in 2013, we've been delighted to host guests from all over the world for anything from 3 days to 6 months for travel, work or even temporary accommodations while house renovations are underway.
Downstairs features a fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher, a king bedroom with en suite shower room, an additional WC and a spacious living/dining area.
Upstairs is a second king bedroom, a twin room (2 single beds) and the family bathroom with a shower over the bath.
As parents and grandparents ourselves we understand the importance of child safety, child comfort and parental needs and that is why we are happy to offer cot beds, high chairs and stair gates in both cottages, all available on request.
On site solar and ground sourced heat generation provide much of the energy used to keep the lights on, the kettle boiled and your feet warm, produced from renewable sources right here on the farm.
Upon arrival you can let yourself in with the key safe and find a welcome pack with tea, coffee, milk and some biscuits to get you settled in.
We are also happy to now offer high speed (75mb) broadband, perfect for Netflix, skype, gaming or work.
In the living room is a 55" Smart TV for streaming Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, Apple TV etc. You just need to log in with your details.
The 20x20m rear garden is shared with our other holiday cottage and is secluded enough for children to play in peace and safety.
EV charging is available via a Zappi with a Type 2 cable.
Located in Pershore, this holiday home is in a rural area. The Vale Golf and Country Club and Bowl Xtreme are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Pershore Leisure Centre and Number 8 Community Arts centre. Spetchley Park Gardens and Evesham Arts Centre are also worth visiting. With fishing and swimming nearby, you'll find plenty of adventures in the water. Visit our Pershore travel guide

We really enjoyed our stay at Varden House, the description of the property was entirely accurate, it’s a lovely property. We were visiting family in the area and the accommodation suited us perfectly. Our hosts were easy to communicate with. We would love to come back for our next trip to Worcestershire. Thank you Jess and Darren.
A very spacious and comfortable home for the week. With 5 adults it gave us space to spread out. Ideally central for Stratford on Avon, Warwick Castle, Cadbury's World and Worcester. Cotswold trip was called off because of the extreme heat. We opted for a half day in Evesham instead.
Whilst we were happy to sit and sleep, we all had the impression that there were dead flies and cobwebs in windows and door walks.
Struggled to get the lock off the cooker hob and no instruction manual for assistance.
The B road adjacent to the property is quite busy and could hear cars especially at night.
I would recommend it as a lovely area and whilst we want to carry on exploring the area, we probably won’t return to this property.
The online summary of the property matched the property exactly. A plus was that the owners of this property take great steps to avoid waste (solar panels, etc). The directions to property were easy to follow, house was spotless, spacious and in excellent shape. Only wish we could have spent more time here!
The property was lovely and very well kept - it is quite large - could easily accommodate 6 people so it was a bit too big for myself and my partner - location was convenient for the Malvern Hills and Worcester
Amazing stay, quiet and peaceful and great place to take our dog too! Our hosts were really accommodating and we hope to come back again with extended family in the future! :)
We had a great time and we were welcomed with fresh Bread and Eggs and the place was exactly as described on the web.
We had a problem with our Naughty Labrador, but The Host was very kind and understanding. Just Great !
We were a group of 5, cousins having a week's family gathering, and needing a comfortable base while we were out every day. Varden suited us really well. It was clean and well looked after, spacious and very comfortable. We'd definitely recommend it.

A pleasant few days away.
Clean and comfortable with an eclectic collection of furniture! Nice interior space and quiet semi rural location.
