Great view and lots of space. Very good parking. Large bedroom with a very small bed! Please put in a queen sized bed and at least change the mattress.Large bathroom with a very small shower. You have lots of room, please expand the shower.Guidance of distance to various attractions: train station 9 minutes, only if you are an Olympic athlete. 15 minutes down, 25 minutes up. We timed it twice

The view was incredible. Our only issue was the lack of internet and Tv for 3 nights. I would have hoped our repeated requests for assistance to correct the issue would have been met.

Location!

Spacious top floor apartment with beautiful view from the balcony overlooking Lake Como! We had a car and it was a fun drive up the mountain and close enough to the auto ferry to visit Bellagio or Menaggio.

A beautiful stay!

This property really does look like the pictures. The view is absolutely breathtaking and the host was very accommodating and regularly checked on us over messages to see if we were having a good time. The area is wonderful! The biggest “hurdle” so to speak was not the host’s fault, but just be mindful that the apartment is very high up the mountain in relation to Varenna. It is a very steep walk for about 20 minutes to get to the apartment from Varenna. The walk into Varenna is all downhill. The taxi is worth it if you are carrying bags to/from the train station, although the taxi suggested by the host was not able to accommodate the times we needed it for so we did some research and found another service. Uber is a thing, but plan on spending lots of money for it and planning it in advance. If you have a car however, this might be more doable although parking can also be difficult to find if you plan on using a car to get into Varenna. Again however, the views of the apartment make any inconvenience worth it. Overall we would definitely recommend!

Utterly amazing view and quite spacious unit. Quiet as well. Beds were a bit hard for us soft Americans and its a steep 15-20 min hike up/down to the unit from the train station. Nice little hike though.

Beautiful stay with a beautiful view!

The view from the apartment was stunning, the most beautiful view of the lake. The apartment is clean and has a modern twist but still has that Italian feel to it. The only tiny downside is the hike up to the apartment from the bottom, however it is still only a 15 minute walk from the Varenna train station and trust me when I say the view makes the trek worth it! Just make sure you use the short cut paths! You can also get a taxi which takes 5 minutes from the train station and around €15. It’s close to the ferry docks too. The owners provide well information for your arrival and check in. Would 100% recommend and would love to visit again!
