  • Welcome to The Knoxville Retreat, a sprawling three bedroom all brick estate situated on 2 private acres in the heart of Peoria. No expenses were spared upgrading this 1920's estate into a modern retreat for you and your guests.
    With the modern traveler in mind, the spacious first floor offers plenty of ways to entertain with a formal living room with a fire place, family room with ambient lighting and a mini bar, and an open layout into the dining room allowing you to entertain any group size.

    Ideal central location in the heart of Knoxville Avenue, less than five minutes from downtown Peoria, this unique estate offers first class amenities geared to satisfy your every need.

    Amenities include:
    - New smart tv's with the following services loaded: Youtube TV; Netflix; Hulu; HBO; Cinemax; Starz; Amazon Video; and more.

Wonderful Property

Wonderful property for a relaxing stay with family. Location seemed to be within 5-10 minutes of everything we planned on doing in Peoria. Riverfront, museums, grocery store, Bradley Park, dog trails - every time we googled directions, we were close to our destination. Lots of room to spread out in the house, beautiful grounds, nice beds, nice towels. We just had a great time staying at the Knoxville Retreat.

Perfect retreat while visiting family for Christmas

Our family was extremely pleased during our stay. Dimitri was very responsive and the property was very clean. My wife and dogs drove up from Florida to visit family for Christmas. It was perfect. The location was great and close to everything we needed. We will definitely look at coming back in the future.

Wonderful experience, wonderful host!

We stayed at the Knoxville retreat to prepare for my daughter’s wedding. Dimitri is a responsive and gracious host, the beds were AMAZING, and the house updates are well done, while still retaining some of the charm. Such thoughtful touches, like creamer, several sugar options, pots and pans, baking sheets, filtered water, hand soap, lotion, etc…. It was a very enjoyable stay!!

Nice Home

This is a nice older home on a beautiful property in central Peoria. We lived in Peoria for 30 years and came back for a family wedding. We arrived after dark and had difficulty finding the property as the driveway is shared with another home or you can come in from the street behind. Also, all of the smoke alarms have been removed.

Amazing stay

We had the best time during our stay at the Knoxville Retreat. The house is a beautiful, older home, well decorated and really well furnished. It is located on a large yard, far back off the road and was very quiet; good neighborhood. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. It was relaxing and really made our visit. Thank you so much for providing such a great to stay in Peoria! We will be back.

Getaway in the middle of Peoria

This home in the center of Peoria was homey, tastefully furnished, and full of character. Lots of restaurants and such nearby, but also quiet since it's situated back from the road on a hill. The host was communicative and friendly. Note, the bedrooms are on the second floor if you have trouble with stairs.

House was amazing. Property owner, Dmitri and his family, live next door and were amazing getting everything we needed and making our stay very comfortable. Feels like being in a hotel. I would definitely stay there again and as we have family in town, probably will.

Elegant home with beautiful yard

I stopped at the Knoxville retreat for four days of R and R and to conduct several virtual meetings. This home is lovely. Well appointed and furnished. Quiet neighborhood and a beautiful 2 acre yard. The owner and his family are wonderful. Very attentive to every need. Highly recommended stay and if in the area, I will rebook.

Hospitable Host

We had to rush to Peoria to be with my father as he had an extended stay at St Francis hospital ICU. Our family wanted to be close but due to Covid we’re not allowed at the hospital. Dimitri was kind and thoughtful to us as we gathered to support one another during this stressful time. The house provided a safe and comfortable place to rest and comfort each other.
