"Just to clarify the kitchen/shared bathroom situation: This is a converted house. Ground floor has bathroom off kitchen. Bathroom and kitchen are both domestic and fully equipped - kitchen has hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer etc. By all means bring a meal to heat up in the microwave for dinner but be warned there is no table to eat it at! Rooms are clean, tidy and comfortable but no table in there either, and sockets (or should that be socket?) are in very poor locations so bring long...

"From start to finish, Tracy and Jerry could not do enough. Their beautiful home was so welcoming and comfortable, it was a pleasure to stay there. "It was more affordable than other places near the centre, only 5-10 minutes walk to Lime Street station. The apartment was clean and quiet too and check-in was straight forward. Only issue I had was a very uncomfortable bed that made a lot of noise every time you moved because it was a fold-away bed. They had put a mattress topper on to try and help but did not sleep well. Fine for one night but I wouldn't want to sleep there for consecutive nights on that bed. "
