Beach stat
Beautiful beach front property near the climbing walls. If we weren't at the bkuffs qe wanted to just stay at the house since it was so beautiful and fun to hang out by the water.

Beautiful Lake Front Views
Trish and Ben were wonderful hosts. We had to rebook last minute due to a problem with the other property. They made everything work seamlessly for our group of ten. The views from the property are amazing across Skaha Lake. A great home for a large group to eat and socialize together while enjoying the great outdoors during the day. Thanks.

Waterfront Property Lake Skaha
We had a wonderful time at this house on the lake. We especially appreciated the beach, dock, and paddleboards. Also the deck overlooking the water. Most of the rooms had A/C. (two bedrooms did not, but as the weather was not super hot, it was tolerable. The house is older, but reasonably well maintained. One of the bathrooms had cold water only for sink and shower. In the kitchen there were no staples except salt and pepper. Perhaps that is driven by changes since Coved, but you need to bring sugar, any spices you anticipate using. Also there was no sheet pan or lettuce spinner. Other cookware was plentiful.

Beautiful location and perfect for families that like water sports
Our family of twelve (10 adults and 2 kids) and two dogs had a wonderful week’s stay in Penticton. Beautiful views, great location with amazing water frontage which fit our large family well. The house had all the interior amenities we needed and we thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor amenities such as the upper deck and dock. Paddle boards, life jackets and other water toys were provided. We had 2 younger kids that enjoyed the waterfront as the water wasn’t too deep and they had plenty of room to swim around. As per other reviews, there are many stairs to navigate inside and outside the house which can be an issue. Some of the stairs leading down to the beach were a bit steep and lacked railings. The spiral staircase on the inside can be a challenge and potential safety concern for smaller kids. Also, the kitchen was a bit on the small side for a larger group and does not have a vent or fan for the stove. The driveway has plenty of room for a larger group with space to park 5-6 vehicles. A couple of things to note, the parking can be a bit tricky as the house is situated on a somewhat busy street. Thanks Trishia for the two bottles of wine, it went well with one of our family dinners! (and thanks for providing the two stepping stools as well LOL)

Great place for a big group

Perfect Family Vacation
This property is ideal for a family vacation. There were 10 of us and we had plenty of space. The house is an older home with quirky charm. The grandkids loved it! Having a private beach was amazing! We brought our own inflatables but 2 paddle boards, a small kayak and life jackets were provided. The beach shore was rocky and water shoes were beneficial. The kids spent hours in the water and jumping off the dock. I enjoyed the views and tranquility. It was much better than the busy public beach. We wouldn’t hesitate staying at this property in the future.

A great family holiday!
A quirky older home, comfortable except for a couple of bedrooms with no AC (we were there during a heat-wave), and the kitchen is a bit small for a large group. Just know that there are a lot of steps up/down to beach level. Overall experience was positive - lived up to the promise of water toys which was super (Paddle boards, floaties, lifejackets, beach toys etc.)! Lots of shady areas on the beach level made it comfortable all day, even when it was extremely hot. Lots of chair/seating options at beach level. All in all - our family had a wonderful time!

Great place, would happily recommend it
We enjoyed our week here and would recommend it to others looking for a lakeside vacation. The house was as advertised, and actually better because they had done some upgrades since the pictures were taken. We brought a jet ski and tied it to the moorage buoy for the week which worked out well. Thank you to Trishia for your hospitality!

Lots of water toys, books and games for kids. Excellent views. Comfy beds and clean throughout. Tricky stairs in some places for the younger ones. Overall it made for a nice getaway for all ages!

Family Water Fun
Our family of six adults and five children, ages 3 to 10, tries to find a week by a lake each summer. We love swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking and just plain relaxing in a tranquil setting with clean and comfortable accommodation. Our Penticton week on Skaha Lake could not have been better. Everyone loved their bedrooms. Even in the heat wave, we were comfortable. Thank you for such a variety of sand toys, water floats, junior kayaks and two brand new paddle boards! We averaged five hours at day in or by the water. Glorious for all! Bonus: Marina five minutes away for the morning we rented a speedboat and wakeboard. Excellent coffee and bakery at marina.

Lake Access was Great! Perks & Ponderings
Our group of 11 people enjoyed our stay - easy check-in and Trisha even brought us extra glasses and towels for our large group on day 1. Private access to lake, paddleboards, and kayaks was fabulous and the young adults in our group took advantage of the watersport equipment, while the older adults took advantage of the inflatable island that we brought ourselves. Temperatures were high with some smoke/air quality issues while we were there, so we appreciated the shade from trees on the lakefront and the AC in the main living areas. The balcony off of the kitchen is an outstanding feature, plus it has a water misting system that was very useful. Of note, with our large group, we were tight on food storage space in the single fridge available; the 2 queen-sized bedrooms do NOT have AC and sleeping was uncomfortable most nights in the heat for the people in those rooms; price seems high compared to some other properties in the area although few can accommodate large groups such as ours with direct lakefront access. Overall, we enjoyed the property, amenities, and our stay.

Wonderful Host, clean house, and enjoyable beach
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this house. The house has AC upstairs in the kitchen and living room and one room downstairs. There are many ways to enjoy beach time, swimming, water sports, sunbathing. The host has left floaties for kids (and adults), paddle boards, and wood for fire. There’s shade and sun areas by the beach and a large patio adjacent to kitchen was very useful for our group dinners. Very clean house and welcoming host. Grocery stores are close by too. Be mindful of the many stairs between bedrooms and kitchen and beach if you have physical limitations. We hope to book this place again :)

Beautiful home on the lake
My best friends and I celebrated our 10 year friendaversary at this heaven on earth home ♥️ We stayed 3 nights and were so impressed with the accommodations, all 13 of us slept so comfortably in our rooms and we were able to enjoy every meal together around the massive dining room tables. Our favourite part was outside in the backyard though! Beautiful, lush lawn meets the refreshing water of skaha lake along with 2 docks and multiple decks. It was pure bliss and where we spent most of the weekend. So much room for all of us to be together the whole time, which is exactly what we wanted. Thank you so much to this home! You’ve helped us create a tradition that will live on for many more years to come.

We loved our stay at Ben and Trishia’s home on Skaha lake. Both Ben and Trishia were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The house had everything we could possibly need and it was cool and comfortable. We rented a pontoon and speed boat which added to the fun. We’d go back in a heartbeat!

Fantastic location on the lake
We had an awesome stay here, couldn't fault it. The property was really spacious, very comfortable for 11 of us. Good cooking facilities and the BBQ was awesome, made it really easy to cater for a large group. The private access to the lake was so so good and really made our trip. Penticton Beach house
This property was great in many ways. We were greeted with a bottle of great local wine and a cute bear holding a sign. So nice!The location, proximity to the lake, the many bedrooms, the decks, the parking, all the water toys they supply are all terrific. We had a big family & dog to accommodate and it was easily done at the this house. While it's an older house it's very well kept. The owner Ben was easy to communicate with, he changed his cancelation policy when Covid hit and this was for our comfort and benefit which we appreciated. He was eager to be of help if necessary and we would stay here again.

Amazing holiday home for our group!

Great for groups
This rental has a beautiful view of the lake. It accommodated our group of 9, 4 different families perfectly! The home was clean and Trishia was excellent with being flexible with our arrival time and communication. Only suggestions would be for the Kitchen it could use a couple of additional utensils like vegetable brush and vegetable peeler. For a large group another jug of bottled water for the water cooler would have been great as well. Some fold up chairs in the house would be great for large groups and perhaps another small chair in the upstairs living room. With that many people we didn’t have enough places to sit. Would definitely stay here again!

Great vacation
We had a wonderful time enjoying this beautiful home with another family. The house was big enough for all 10 of us! The kids loved and enjoyed running around. The view was beautiful to wake up to everyday. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes for a large family. The location was a perfect drive to Apex where we enjoyed a lot of the winter activities majority of our stay there. We will definitely come back to stay.

Perfect family holiday
We are a family of 9, 7 adults and 2 eighteen month old children, who spent 5 days at this property in early September. The house was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The owners purchased a “pack and play “, specifically for our visit. We enjoyed the wonderful beach, dock, fire pit, deck, and barbecue . The location is amazing, with parks and playgrounds within walking distance, and vineyards, and restaurants, only a short drive away.

We had a wonderful time by the lake and on the deck it really is a nice spot. And the Bed Quilts are the best!! Nice to have space for 9 of us -Our only disappointment was the Kayaks are for kids not adults.

Amazing place!
Amazing place indeed! We were greeted by Barbara, Tricia’s mother. She was very nice and explained to us how everything worked. The house was perfectly clean and organized. They even had wine and beer for us! The lakeside view from the higher deck is outstanding all the time but especially at sunset. It even had a mister hose along the railing which was perfect for those over 30+ degrees days. The house had everything and more that made our stay very comfortable like air conditioners, nice beddings, shampoo and conditioner in the showers, towels for the beach etc. We put to a good use the margarita blender! We were 10 adults and two children and two dogs and we had a lots of room for everybody. The kids loved swimming and feeding the ducks every morning in the beach and docks. One of our sons brought a speed boat and the place has a very nice large dock and a small one for small inflatable toys. We spent most days under the fantastic willow tree. This place has a lot of privacy but is still very close to Penticton. We did boating, swimming at the beach, played with ducks, reading, chatting, etc. The weather was excellent: sunny and hot. This was a perfect place to have all our family together. Thank you Ben and Trish for sharing this beautiful place with us for 6 days. We’ll be back!!

Great family vacay
10 of us (between ages 13-60) Had an amazing family vacation. Close to everything we wanted to do. Great lawn area and dock with shade to relax. Boat rentals close by as well as plenty of wineries. Lots of stairs for those with bad knees. We would love to rent here again!

Great Stay!
Our stay was fantastic! We were a party of 10 (6 adults and 4 children). Owners were available and accommodating prior to our arrival when we asked about early check-in. When we arrived the owners took us through the entire house and showed us the storage location of all the amenities. The provided amenities were perfect for a waterfront home and we took advantage of them all! We brought 2 boats and were able to securely dock and moor both of them. We enjoyed the waterfront yard immensely which was very spacious and easily accommodated the 10 of us and 2 dogs. The accommodations were very comfortable and we lacked nothing. We highly recommend this property.

Awesome refreshing getaway!
What a reinvigorating experience! We had a mini-family reunion and had an amazing time. The pictures did not do the house justice. There was ample room for 11 of us plus our dog. The beach access was incredible and the owners supplied paddle boards, floaties, beach toys, etc to keep everyone happy and occupied. The deck off of the kitchen provided amazing views of Skaha and the misters kept everyone cool. The interior provided ample space and privacy for everyone. We all can’t wait to come back next year!

Great for large families
Bedding was great and comfortable. So many water toys and life jackets for all ages including toddlers. View was spectacular and lake front was great. Geese do like to poop on the dock and grass but it’s easy to sweep into the water. So don’t feed the geese and they want return. Lots of kitchen items and the knives are the best I have ever used in a vrbo. Bottled water was a plus and margarita maker was a bonus. Just wish our stay was longer.

A lakefront home for families
We Just returned from pen Tiktin where we stayed at Ben and Trish’s lovely Lakeside home. Although an older home, Ben and Trish have updated it to make it a perfect vacation rental. We arrived to find they had purchased two blowup paddleboard‘s, a brand new margarita machine and had prepared the cooler on the deck with a lovely welcoming bottle of wine in case of beer. There was room for everyone in the home. Although an older house there were many bedrooms and bathrooms so that everyone could find their own space. Ben was easy to reach at a moments notice. In fact, They greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour. The home is filled with all that you need from lifejackets to kitchen supplies to towels and beach towels and linens. We would love to return to this property.

This is huge home that is great for multi-family use!
We rented this property for 3 families to stay at during our wedding in August. There was tons of space and lots of room for everyone to have their own privacy if needed. We also brought two dogs so it was nice having a home to accommodating for them. Overall, we had a great experience and pleasant stay at this rental!

An ideal place for relaxation
When we arrived at Ben & Trish's home, we were amazed with the size of the place. The four bedrooms had comfortable queen beds (two with kings). There were enough bathrooms for each couple as well as a loft for kids. The balcony is perfectly situated for us to enjoy the view of Skaha Lake and the neighbouring hills. You can use either of the two big BBQ grills situated on the deck. The misters along the rails helped keep us cool under the warm Penticton sun. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils, microwave oven, coffee maker and basics like coffee, saran wrap and aluminum foil. Down below is access to the lake with lawn chairs and a dock. Ben and Trish provide you with several inflatable toys and boats to enjoy the lake. In terms of the location, it's perfect. You are no more than 5 minutes from downtown Penticton but have enough space and seclusion for privacy. This is an ideal space for families with several kids. One thing we really appreciate from Ben and Trish is that they mailed to us a couple of items we inadvertently left behind. Overall, we are very pleased with Ben and Trish's home and their hospitatily. We will attempt to go back again the following year.

Wonderful Place for a Family Vacay!!!
Our family of 4 and our friends family of 4 enjoyed a sweet vacation here!!! The lake house was welcoming clean and had lovely charm to it. We had more than enough room to gather or take time to ourselves. There were lots of bathrooms and the kitchen was mostly well stocked.We loved our cozy bed and morning coffees on the deck.Speaking of the deck it had an amazing view and a mister to cool off.We enjoyed our days lakeside at the dock admiring the big willow tree swimming and boating and loving the sunshine.The owners were always nearby to help with anything we needed and were super friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the local wineries and beaches nearby too!!Great summer memories were made in this great vacation spot!!

I'm seriously considering booking it again for next year!
We were 4 adults and 4 kids - lots of room for the kids to run around - we did boating, swimming down at the beach; played with ducks, saw a beaver. Great for stargazing if you're into that sort of thing. The adults spent most evenings just relaxing with drinks on the main deck (no mosquitoes!) with a bluetooth speaker. The owner set up a mist hose along the deck railing (which I am now going to replicate at home btw). I would love it if I could post pictures of just how nice this place was in the comments box. There was a huge public beach and water park/ park only about a 2 min drive away. Incredible views of the lake -- very relaxing - so glad we decided on here and not on Kelowna (crazy busy on the drive through). House was very well air conditioned; kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. All amenities were only a 5-10 min drive from the house. The house was safe for the kids to run around and play (ages of our kids at the time of the post were 2,3,4 and 4). The house even had a toddler hangout behind the staircase for the kids to color! Our family meets up in a new location in Canada every year, and this trip will be hard to top next year -- we may just book this place again!
