I specifically wanted a first floor unit but there were two down sides to being on the first floor. The dunes blocked the view of the beach but this wasn't a show stopper. We did however experience a lot of noise from unit above... nothing extravagant, just a heavy walker and the screech of chairs sliding back and forth at the dining table. On second day housekeeping brought a great new broom, so everything was great after I cleaned floors✔️ Also note that clothes dryer has to run (2) cycles to dry 4 towels/washcloths but to be expected since dryer is slightly older. Needlerush Point has ample beachfront coverage with low rise buildings and an old school beach feel within walking distance to the Florabama but far enough to escape the crowds.
