There was a lot that needed updating. It was a good location. Blackout curtains would be nice for the rooms with constant lights outside the windows.

The view was outstanding. The unit did need some freshening up. The closet door in the small bedroom was off the track (broken), The closet door in the big bedroom was missing a handle (there was only a screw sticking out to grab on to. It appeared kids stayed in the unit prior to us. The remotes for the TVs were not with the TV which they controlled. There was excessive junk in the laundry room and the open network panel there appeared to be a mess (it should not have been open with no way to close it).

Absolutely Stunning!

The place was just as described. The balcony was so big. Had my coffee on the balcony in the morning, and watched the dolphins swim by. The sliding glass door in the master bedroom I kept opened a little, and went to sleep each night to the waves crashing the beach. I would recommend this places, and I would definitely stay here again. Much needed relaxation stay

Beautiful views

This place has beautiful views and easy access to the beach. The beds were comfortable and the room is perfect for 2 couples. The kitchen had everything we needed. Location is great and within a short mile drive to Publix and CVS. Walmart is about 5 miles away. Restaurants are close and the Flora Bama line is a short drive as well. We would definitely stay here again. The couch definitely needs replacing and would not recommend a 5th person sleeping on it folded in or out.

Great view of the Gulf with everything you need.

The view of the Gulf from the 11th floor was superb. I could sit on the balcony endlessly looking at the beach, the dolphins and rays and schools of fish, the waves breaking, the emerald water, the Blue Angels flying down the beach, the storms rolling in from far away, the stars... The beds were very comfortable and we slept great. The kitchen has everything we needed and good grocery stores very close so we could make anything we wanted, including great seafood. The couch should be replaced, but you should t spend too much time there as the beach is right outside. I miss it already.

We were very happy with the condo. It was clean and decorated nicely. The balcony had various sitting options. Beach was great! Never crowded. Ice machine on 3rd floor was a nice amenity for all guest. Pool was clean. Mattress in second bedroom is my only complaint. It could have definitely been more comfortable. We would stay here again without any reservations.

The property nice and clean. Some things need updating such as bathrooms. There also needs to be a deadbolt on the door. I did not feel safe and had to prop a chair under the door handle in order to do so. The power was not working in the master bedroom. It was reported and no one ever came to check it out or fix it. So the whole time I stayed, I was not able to turn on the light, use the ceiling fan, or watch tv in the room. The size of the balcony and views were amazing. Sunrises were gorgeous! It was a very relaxing environment and location was perfect. Beach was not crowded at all and you can find the most beautiful intact sea shells as you walk along the beach. I would stay again and recommend, but I would like the power to work and a deadbolt on the door as added security.

We’ll be back.

We stayed in a different condo last year and I will never rent that condo again. I was leary to rent again at Windermere, but I was pleasantly surprised! This condo was kept up so well! Perfectly decorated, up to date and well stocked kitchen. This room was clean!!! And I mean no mold or mildew on the walls or ceiling. Literally my only suggestion is please replace the sofa. It’s incredibly uncomfortable and worn.

Mobility-Challenged experience

While the view was lovely and we spent the evenings taking in the view, the facilities had some major problems for people on scooters. Our van does not fit in the garage, so we parked in a handicap space at the second floor entrance, only to find that the door was blocked and the garage-side entrance must be used (accessible using steps). Getting a luggage cart to the van and up to the room was problematic because of the closed entrance. The access and egress to the 2nd floor parking area is by a very narrow circular driveway, ( There are a lot of scrapes from cars and trucks that did not make the turns), There should be something posted letting people know about the narrow circular driveway. The first floor ramp is narrow and takes some maneuvering around the turns.

Very Nice Condo but Needs a Few Improvements

The condo/property was exactly as listed. It was very clean, nicely decorated and updated, very comfortable, and it had awesome views from the balcony. It is located close to elevator, with easy access to the parking garage. The main complaint I had was the couch is worn out, very uncomfortable, and is in desperate need of replacing. I have noticed several other bad reviews concerning the couch, and I agree with them 100%. The owners need to spend some of that money they are making off the guest fees and replace the couch. One recommendation I have is blankets need to be added to the linens provided. I realize that the condo is mostly used in the summer months, but if going to rent during winter months, it would be nice to have blankets to place on the beds at night due to the cold temps. One noticeable difference in this property and the dozens of vacation properties my family have stayed at in the past is, don't expect enough needed toiletries such as soap, etc. (only a minimum amount were provided thus resulting in us having to purchase more). There were no condiments for cooking or kitchen extras (i.e. trash bags) in the kitchen either...again, just the bare minimum furnishings. Again, the condo was very nice, and we enjoyed our stay. We probably would not rent this property again due to the fact we have stayed in better vacation rentals for the same rental cost.
