Passing thru Peniscola
Big hotel lots of ‘mature’ guests actively enjoying the line dancing in the bar. Restaurant food poor. Also rammed not a good experience but room clean and tide. €4 to use the one bike in the gym. 20min walk to castle.

Absolutely dissapointed
I didn't like the hotel at all, it's not obviously a 4 stars superior, it's maximum a 3 stars. The room is too small, swimming pool too small either, always over crowded and with no sun beds available most of the time. The room was never properly cleaned, just superficially. The food was ok but not exceptional for a 4 stars superior. Trays run out of food and not replaced enough, an hour before they closed did not put any more food. Parking too expensive, 15 euros/day, it should have been free. Drinks were too expensive. Views from the room were awful. Will never go back. No good value for money. Paid for a 4 stars superior and only got 3 stars

Family stay in Peniscola
Hotel was great! Not 4 stars per US measure but that's likely geography difference. Staff are friendly, food is excellent! Not brand new hotel which you can tell by the rooms as well as furniture in the lobby but very clean. Location is awesome!

We spent two relaxing nights here.. There are many great tapas bars and the on site restaurant offers a nice breakfast

Seemed modern, clean, safe neighbourhood, view of the castle, the pleasant receptionist spoke good English, and the rooms were big with modern bathrooms. Good parking underground but cost 12 Euros. The breakfast looked great, Unfortunately, we'd had a bout of illness and didn't look at dinner and couldn't eat more than dry toast and tea at breakfast. In fact, we had to cancel the first of our 2 planned nights 2 days ahead due to the illness but were charged anyway (as per the contract but gee... the hotel we were at called the ambulance for us and then called Papa Luna to explain and cancel, but, nada, too bad, so sad). Had to wait an hour to check out because a tour bus was checking in - surely they knew when it was coming and could have provided more staff? Still, we'd go back and try them again.

Big Busy Hotel
This is a busy hotel.When we had requests,they were responded to, with care by an exceptional staff person,Ana,on reception.Considering the size of the hotel,the buffet offered was wholesome and plentiful.The outdoor pool was crisp and clean.The room was cleaned daily.Be aware of many added costs as everything is extra.

Our Stay
We booked this hotel at the last minute to cut down our driving time between Rojales and Barcelona. The hotel was right were we wanted to be. When we arrived the staff at check-in staff was good. Beach was right across the beach and very nice. Great afternoon break. The rooms very small but clean. The price included 1/2 board and was satisfactory for breakfast. Would recommend.

Excellent Hotel
The hotel is an easy walk from the old town and front line to the beach so couldn't have chosen a better location. The quality and cleanliness of the building is fantastic and the staff very friendly and helpful. We were full board and were very impressed by the food which was buffet style. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will be returning...

Hotel bien situado, y con instalaciones agradables EXCEPTO Las hamacas con toldo que tienen concertadas en la playa. No hay espacio material para poder moverte, para levantarte tienes que meterte en los pocos cm. de la hamaca del vecino. Como sardinas en lata. Para quien va a Peñíscola sobre todo por la playa como es mi caso, es una fena, porque estás encajonado en un espacio en el que no te puedes mover. Yo ni siquiera fui el ultimo dia a la playa a pesar de tener reservada la hamaca y de tener que pagarla en el hotel. Preferi perder el dinero. Las vacaciones me las fastidiaron por esa racanería con el espacio. Y desde luego.no volvería, una pena.

Respecto al espacio en el que tenemos instaladas las hamacas, nos gustaría informarle que debemos ajustarnos a la normativa vigente y no podemos expandirnos fuera de nuestra parcela. Esperamos que lo entienda y sentimos si su experiencia no fue positiva. Vemos que puntúa negativamente nuestra atención al cliente. Si fuera tan amable nos gustaría saber los motivos por los cuales se fue con esta impresión tan mala. Su opinión es muy importe y nos ayuda a mejorar el servicio ofrecido. Personal de recepción poco empatico. El día q nos íbamos para aprovechar el día en la playa pedimos q nos dejaran duchar aunque fuera en la ducha de la piscina para quitarnos las sal (ya que por el COVID no hay servicio de habitación de cortesía) y nos dejaron hasta las 16h, lo mismo q con el parking del coche. Cuando íbamos a hacer uso de un servicio el hotel extra que es el spa a las 18h. Creo q no les hubiera costado nada habernos dejado hasta terminar el spa. Me parece un poco ridiculo por su parte por 3 h más q era. En cuanto a la cafetería si se echaba de menos una televisión. Por lo demás genial. Comida excelente, variada. Personal de animación encantador e ideal para los niños. Ubicación, genial.
