"What a beautiful place! Everything was wonderful, from the amazing welcome, the beautiful cave rooms, the smiling and helpful staff. We enjoyed a couples massage in the spa which was one of the best deep tissue massages. Must stay in Crete!!!"

" We had a really lovely stay at Out of the Blue Hotel in Crete. The location is absolutely wonderful — surrounded by beautiful beaches and stunning views. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade on arrival, which made our stay even better. The reception and restaurant staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly — they really made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The only downside, and the reason for giving 4 instead of 5 stars, was the limited variety of meat options in the main restaurant. It would have been nice to have a bit more choice, especially towards the end of the season. We were also disappointed that we couldn’t get even one night at the à la carte restaurant, especially since the hotel was nearly closing for the season in late October. When we gave our feedback, the guest relations lady didn’t take it very well and rather bluntly mentioned that no other guests had complained about the limited meat options — we felt this was a bit rude and dismissive. Overall though, it’s a beautiful resort in a fantastic location with great staff. "

"This place was absolutely divine, with a stunning ocean view that made waking up a true pleasure. The decor is modern and beautiful, and the place also has a lovely pool. The owner and the staff are incredibly nice and accommodating. We had the greatest experience!"

"This home is perfection! Exactly as pictured - 3 bedrooms each with their own attached bathroom, a kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals, and both indoor and outdoor meal seating. The terrace allows you to sunbath or take shade from the beautiful Cretan sun and your own pool to stay cool and make memories with family or friends. Just minutes walking to 2 different beaches, with grocery stores and restaurants along the way, as well as rentals and daily excursions are easily booked. Easy self check-in and our host George welcomed us with a bottle of wine, water, apple juice for the kids and a melon in the fridge. His communication was prompt and very helpful with wonderful local recommendations for restaurants. The best stay - can’t wait to return! "
