"This was our first experience of a holiday in the UK , The resort was in a lovely location and it had a few facilities for the children. Parking was difficult as it was busy, but we managed. We walked to our chalet , the chalets we past on the way look very well kept and clean on the outside. When we arrived at ours it was covered in spiders webs , the bench and picnic table outside had not even been wiped. As we entred , it seemd like they had new carpets,. "Lovely stay gorgeous little chalet. Is small but great use of space and everything you need is inside.Was clean and tidy however a little tired and could have done with a good dust. But didn't spoil the stay. Also mattress could do with replacing.Loved the history of our chalet and the site is really lovely. Great area easy walk to the beach and into Hayle.Each chalet was unique and plenty of space in between, very friendly.Would definitely return beaches are absolutely incredible."

"Lovely hotel with restaurant downstairs, useful for bed and breakfast and getting dinner in the evening. Nice staff, had a nice sized room. Lovely sea views from front of property. Easy access by walking 10 minutes or less by car to Penzance train station and the town. Great if you want to explore the area, st Ives 25 mins by train and st Michael’s Mount 3 miles are nearby with great transport links by bus and train."

"Beautiful property, great location and staff provided an excellent standard of service. The WhatsApp connection to concierge works brilliantly and saves a lot of hassle, too. I’m not sure that the Grandhomes (apartments physically disconnected from the hotel building) represent good value, though. I would look first towards a room in the main hotel building. Also, beware of lots of additional charges for meals and hotel services. I found this particularly disappointing considering the price point."

"3/5 – Decent stay, but tight on space Overall an okay experience. The room was quite small for two people on a week-long trip — storage was limited and we genuinely struggled to find space to open and access our suitcases properly. It's also not a modern hotel, though that's probably fairly typical for the area. There's also no lift, which made carrying heavy luggage up to the room a real struggle. The hotel is right next to a main road, so it was noisy even with the windows closed. On the plus side, the staff were helpful throughout, and the chef was friendly and made a nice impression. The location is a real strength — easy access to both bus and train, so getting around Penzance and beyond was convenient. Given the price we paid, though, it didn't quite feel like it matched the value — for the cost, I'd have expected a bit more in terms of room size and amenities."

"View was stunning, catch of the day was amazing, manager was top notch and did everything she could to resolve any issues. Room was lovely, unfortunately balcony was in need of TLC, however it is due to be renovated we understand. Room was very hot and as it is set back there is little breeze, would definitely recommend having fans available with all this hot weather."
