"So - yes this is a motor lodge- BUT it has recently had renovation to at least the downstairs rooms and they did a fabulous job. The room was spotless and the people at the front desk could not have been nicer. AND here's the amazing part it, is about 100 feet from the middle of St Augustine historical center- shops, food, music, art. I hesitate to write this because I want to be able to get a room next time we go and afraid they will be booked:)"

Keep in mind you are staying above a restaurant in an old house so it is pretty old. The shower was not the best but everything else was beautiful! For sure would stay again!"

Our room was clean, spacious, well decorated, and very comfortable. My only recommendation would be sturdier chairs for the table in the room, they felt shaky. I would definitely book another stay."
