My favourite part was the pool overlooking the surf and watching the sunsets every night while eating dinner. The surf was also amazing. And the staff were always lovely and helpful. I loved it and hope to one day go back. The location, staff, and food were excellent. When my son got injured surfing, management was quick to locate a physician who came to our room. I really can’t say enough good things about how we were treated by all members of the staff. Anyways. There were loud vehicles RIGHT OUTSIDE the rooms early and the morning and some type of construction going on that kept waking us up (had climbed Ijen the night before so really needed the sleep) the welcome drink was AMAZING! Our room, 05 was very close to the service road so there was a lot of noise from trucks and workers from 6:30am. The room was just a standard but nicely decorated. The dining options in the area are limited. We ate both nights at Warung Gede next door which serve simple local cuisine. As we weren’t surfers and we don’t ride scooters, 2 nights was the perfect amount of time here.
