Peel Park

Many of Lanarkshire’s highlights are near to Peel Park, so it is a great place to base yourself while you are in town. Among the most interesting places to see are the fabulous National Museum of Rural Life and the incredible Queen's Park. If time permits, be sure to also visit Burrell Collection and Pollok House.

To surround yourself with nature, head to the nearby green spaces. These are great places to relax and unwind. Admire the trees and flowers, take a few photos, or just listen to the birdsong at Bellahouston Park in Glasgow.

Those with some time to spare in the Peel Park area will not want to miss out on Lighthouse in Glasgow, Glasgow Cathedral and Bothwell Castle in Hamilton.
