We stayed one night in an authentic Balinese cottage, which was quaintness comfortable. The second night we stayed in the upstairs suite in the main building, which was luxurious and spacious. Breakfast was delicious and served in the main dining room. Staff were attentive and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disappointed during check in, but service recovery from the staff was amazing. Had wonderful 3 nights stay because of treatment of the staff. Beautiful common area but room could be fixed more.
Tolles Hotel, welches noch viel Potential hat.
Leider kann nur der "Manager" Englisch, was den Check-In mit den Angestellten etwas schwierig gestaltet hat.
Clean and silence. good for relax and rest. People are very nice and kind,
Clean swimming pool, wonderful garden, great houses.
Air-condition and hot water were not good.(It doesn't matter to rest)
Spent my first 4 days of my visit to Bali at the Uluwatu Peak Residence. My first time in Bali and my first solo traveller adventure.
The house butler Gede goes above and beyond for all guests. Breakfast is huge. The pool is stunning with a beautiful view. Loved this place so much that I'm going back there for my final 3 days :)
Perfect place if what you're looking for is total relaxation, and Some peace and quiet

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
nice place but maybe easy for local guests
when we arrived at hotel, no staff could arrange to check in, we have to wait for 2 hours
Fantastic service, great setting and really charming Balinese style bungalows. Caretaker was phenomenal. Very attentive and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. We had the nasi mi goreng (noodles) and it was probably our favorite breakfast in Bali so far.
The AC was not super strong, but rooms were comfortable enough. Location is quite remote so you'll need transportation but the setting is very quite and relaxing and trips to nearby stunning beaches in Uluwatu take about 15 mins which by Bali standards is a short and traffic free trip.
Would definitely stay at the Peak again and recommend to friends who don't mind staying off the beaten path.
Thanks!
We stayed at Uluwatu Peak Residence for three days in January 2016. The rooms consist of separate wooden cabins on the grounds of a private residence. Our cabin included one bedroom with an adjoining bath/shower. The bed was quite comfortable, and the shower stall was spacious and attractively designed, with a wooden-slat floor that drained quickly. The main problem was that January is Bali's summer, and the wooden cabin was not well insulated against the heat and sunlight, and the air-conditioner was totally inadequate to cool the room during the day. By 10 in the morning the room was a sauna, even with the a/c going full blast. The private residence consists of a large, grandly-designed stone mansion with high ceilings, a spacious open-plan living room/foyer, and a large kitchen with an enormous dining table. Behind the house is a large infinity pool with beautiful views over the coast. The housekeeper Gede was friendly and helped us arrange taxis. However, the place is quite remote, and it's not easy to get taxis, especially Uber taxis, to come out there. If one wishes to just lounge around the pool for a few days, then Uluwata Peak might be suitable, but spending time in the dark, hot room during the day is unpleasant, and getting to and from the place is inconvenient unless you have your own transportation. There are no shops or restaurants with walking distance.
Me and my friend stayed here when we needed a break, it is best for couples but friends or who ever is fine also! it is very quiet and very private...so if you are looking to socialize or something more lively then i don't recommend staying here. If you want to relax/chill and be around uluwata then this is perfect. It is just a bit out of uluwata, but not far. Maybe 10 minutes from the main bits? The rooms are massive, so nice and clean! beautiful rooms and beautiful bathrooms. The breakfast is excellent, the pool looks great but we didn't have time for a swim. The service is amazing, they are so warm and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay. I think there are only about 3 or 4 villas to stay at here? so very quiet and we were actually the only quests staying there at the time. Thank you for the great stay :)
Me and my girlfriend stayed at The Uluwatu Peak Residence for 5 nights and it was amazing! You live in one of 3 traditional Balinese wooden houses and share the huge residence with other guests. The houses are clean, big and the bed is very comfortable, probably the best sleep we had on Bali. The residence is surrounded by nature and has a nice ocean view, a big chlorine free pool was such a retreat after a long hot day on the beach. Their staff is always very helpful and friendly, they want you to feel like you are at home. The kitchen is big and modern, there is also an TRX on the wall to do a quick morning workout.
This property is in a great location as well, everything is close yet it remains quite, no traffic, no smog, no noise. I can imagine this property being also great for families. Try it for sure, you won't be disappointed, we've travelled the whole island and this was one of the best luxury accommodation. Go for it!
