"We loved our stay at The Rockport House. It was within walking distance to town, though there is no staff on the premises, with one call or text, we had every question answered. Loved our room, loved the places to sit in the shade. We will definitely be back! One suggestion, have a water refilling station in the main house."

"There was a lot to like about The Cove, except for the check-in process which was unpleasant. I received one email saying there would be a second email with details for entry. The other emails I received were just offers to upgrade the room (?? Why?). So I figured it would work out when we arrived. However, upon arrival we found no human being available. I called twice and left messages, no call back. Then I sent an sns and finally got the entry code. I have the impression this facility is managed on a "remote" basis. But besides the nail-biter upon entry ("will we have to sleep in the car tonight?"), the room and bed were great!"

"The lobby and room were very comfortable and clean. The stuff members were very friendly and helpful. The hallways could use a vacuuming. It was very convenient to have the continental breakfast included, and there was a good variety too."

"Lovely property with character and within walking distance to the shops and downtown area. I'm a taller guy so I'd make sure you pick a room that isn't the Mary Read. The shower was tight for me being over six foot but the room was great. Gentleman who you text for checking in/information was super helpful and very responsive. Would definitely stay there again."

"As always our stay at MJ's place was excellent. The location can't be beat. Each morning you can take a walk by the ocean and enjoy the spectacular views; ditto the evening. Mary Jane went above and beyond accommodating our needs. It was extremely hot, and she and her husband kindly replaced the air conditioner for us. She also accommodated our parking needs. We had some extra guests and used the beach chairs provided. This was great since we didn't have to bring our own. Thank you again. The Enwrights"

"Great getaway for two people. Cottage was exactly as the pictures. The owner was proactive with communication and very attentive. The cottage is one of several on the property with the “neighbors’ very close. If you are looking for something not a hotel on the North Shore this is a wonderful option."

"The check in was mainly our ignorance of checking in the way they had it set up on line. They had sent us what was needed beforehand but this is the FIRST ONLINE CHECKIN we had experienced so I wasn’t aware of any notifications beforehand. Next time I will watch for the notices. The room , location and facility was worth a 10. The cleaning lady who only spoke Portuguese helped us a great deal and we were greatful for her help. There were no onsite personnel. Would definitely recommend here! Close to beach and nice cooking in kitchen because eating out is to expensive now. June 14-2026"

"Overall we had a wonderful time. There were only a few things we had issue with. Finding outlets to plug our chargers into. Figuring out which switches were for what. The refrigerator had food left in it and was dirty. Other than that we had a fantastic family vacation and enjoyed how close we were to the beach."
