It was very clean and accessible, very cute old home, but smells like an old home. After cooking in the kitchen the smell wasn't as noticeable, but my autistic 4 year old would hold his nose every time he would enter the kitchen. There are two attached apartments to the home and my very private husband was a little unnerved about that, but I never saw or heard them. Beds were comfortable and the yard was amazing! The house is located in the perfect location, right off 17 mile drive, 5 min to a beach, 10 min to Carmel, and less than 10 min to Monterey. Although the house is a bit dated, it was very clean, and the beds were comfy. The house had all the basic essentials…pots/pans, silverware, plates, bath soaps, towels, etc. The backyard is beautiful and serene. My daughter loved swinging on the swing in the backyard and looking through the shelves of children's books at the house.
