"We enjoyed several things about our stay. The property was clean, the AC worked great, and the location was in a quiet neighborhood while still being close to downtown. We also appreciated how private the property felt. The home is an older property that has been nicely remodeled. You can tell that it’s an older home in some areas, such as the floors not being level, but overall, we thought the remodel was well done. Our biggest concern was the comfort of the beds. For us, a comfortable place to sleep is one of the most important parts of a VRBO stay, and unfortunately, neither bed worked well for us. My wife ended up sleeping in the other room, but unfortunately found that bed no more comfortable. We both slept poorly throughout our stay and even considered leaving a day early. We feel that upgrading the mattresses would make a significant difference to future guests. One other thing to be aware of when considering the total cost is that the host requires guests to purchase a separate 60 liability insurance policy, so that is an additional expense beyond the nightly rate.We don’t mean to sound overly critical. This is Payson, and we understand that you’re not booking a five-star resort. Overall, the property has a lot going for it, and with more comfortable beds, we would have had a much better experience."
