Couples or those seeking a more tranquil and secluded experience might prefer one of the eco-lodges or haciendas located just outside the town centre. These properties often provide stunning views of the Andean landscape and offer a chance to connect with nature. They typically focus on comfort and high-quality service, with amenities like private balconies, spacious rooms, and sometimes even organised excursions into the surrounding natural parks or coffee plantations.

The best time to visit Paya, Boyacá, Colombia is during the dry season, which typically runs from December to March and again from July to August.
