Living space
The spacious great room invites you to gather around the cozy wood fireplace, perfect for chilly nights. Large seating areas provide room for conversation, board games, or simply unwinding after a day on the water. Fast, reliable Frontier Fiber keeps you connected for streaming or video calls, even though there is no television in the cabin.
Kitchen & dining
A fully‑equipped kitchen offers a stove/oven, microwave, and refrigerator, along with ample counter space for preparing meals. A generous dining table sits nearby, making family breakfasts and dinner conversations easy and relaxed.
Outdoor living
Step onto the multi‑level deck to feel the breeze and take in panoramic mountain views of the Potomac. Direct river access is just a short 5‑10 minute walk away, where you can fish, swim, or enjoy tubing. A grill stands ready for barbecues, and the spacious yard is ideal for outdoor games. The fire pit provides a perfect spot for s’mores, and occasional bald‑eagle sightings add a touch of wild wonder. Please note the stairs leading down to the river are off‑limits for safety.
Neighborhood & activities
A 35‑minute drive brings you to Berkeley Springs, celebrated for its arts community, boutique shops, restaurants, a brewery, and a winery. The C&O Canal and Paw Paw Tunnel are a brief 10‑15 minute drive, offering historic walks and scenic trails. If you visit in September, the Paw Paw Festival adds local flavor and festivities.
Practical details
The property sits on a large, private parcel of land with plenty of trees, offering room for kids to run and families to gather. Gravel roads lead to the cabin, so a vehicle suited for such surfaces is recommended. The nearest grocery store, a Food Lion in Berkeley Springs, is about a 45‑minute drive, so plan to bring supplies. Our cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival, though you may still notice natural leaves or pollen, especially in certain seasons.

We had a great stay - the cabin was well stocked and clean. We mostly stayed outdoors and enjoyed the incredible view, it rained quite a bit but we didn't mind because the covered porch was a perfect place to sit and immerse yourself in nature. Great location to relax and unwind!
Absolutely perfect! My parents, husband, and I went for a few days after my dad's health scare. It was wonderful to spend time together, enjoy the gorgeous views, and have a fire. Our favorite things were definitely the views, and the fact that we could bring our dog. The hosts were great, and very accommodating. The cabin was clean, spacious, and secluded. We will most definitely be back soon!
What a wonderful cabin - it feels private and remote on a large property with a nice big yard and a view of the river, but not too hard to get to. It had everything we needed for a nice weekend but still has a rustic cabin feel. Hope to return next year for another weekend getaway
Remote location with a fantastic view. Many wildlife to observe. The only thing that did not meet expectation is the noise from the main road across the valley. The cabin is still secluded and hard to see from the road when driving. The house and kitchen are stocked with a lot of things. Recommend for a getaway to enjoy God's creation.
Cute place with nice decor. Beautiful view of the mountains and PawPaw from the back porch. Great starting point for a lot of fun drives on the Md and WV back roads; especially loved the view from Banner Outlook not too far away in MD (fun drive to get there too, but don't go with a low-profile car or a fear of switchbacks and gravel :-)) - but we did not do as much driving as we planned because it was so nice to just sit on the back porch instead :)That being said, go into Berkeley Springs for a little bit at least to visit Mischief, a cute little store you'll spend too much time in.The porch lizards were also very entertaining. You'll hear (texts) a lot from a Tony, pretty sure it's a bot.
The location of the cabin and the views were both great. Upon arrival we did notice that both the front and back doors were not locked and the property was left open. The property has great privacy but we were disappointed when a grass cutting company showed up to mow the lawn mid afternoon. Checkout is at 10am and check-in is at 4pm so I just feel like those types of things should be done when the property is empty. Also a heads up to future guests…you may want to bring some towels with you. The bathroom only had 2 and they were very very small. It is a very nice property and we had a great time…just a few small details that could have made it more enjoyable.
