Charming Villa, large heated pool, wonderful views, peaceful location

"Casa Anunziata was perfect for our family get together. It imbued the country charmof the Italian Piedmont. Our whole family enjoyed the pool especially the grandkids.We made a number of meals in the well stocked kitchen. The highlight of our 10 day stay was undoubtably the 3 dinners that Joseph and Ann prepared for us. They werefabulous . The wine pairings with traditional Piedmontese cuisine were to die for. The small town of Castino was minutes away. There is a small grocery in town which we relied on for some of our needs. Also a restaurant and cafe just had opened in town which we found to be quite good for a close and convenient meal or espresso . Manysmall wineries and castles to explore in the area made for fun getaways. The villa is quite remote but the directions from Ann were very helpful."

"This is a veritable gem of a place, surrounded by the fabulous Piedmont scenery wherever you turn. Carlo, his wife and their team were superb, a warm and friendly welcome, and nothing seemed too much trouble. The hotel facilities are good, with everything you might expect in the room, and the bonus of a beautiful peaceful garden and terrace, where meals can be served, and a lovely pool. But, above all, the food produced by Carlo almost defies description! It is simply, in my view, just of the highest possible standard and, moreover, makes full use of locally grown produce. Unequivocally recommended."
