Wifi, TV, AC, 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths, living room, kitchen, 3 patios. Sleeps 9\. Home away from home in the beach village of Guardarraya. We have sought out to equip our home to a high standard to anticipate your needs by providing the amenities you might want or need for an exceptional, relaxed and comfortable stay for your family. In addition, Casa Sandia is equipped with a power generator, water storage tank and solar water heater. The space Linen, fully equipped kitchens, air-conditioned, Wifi, TV, games, USB charging outlets, hairdryer, iron, steamer, bath and beach towels, basic toiletries, beach chairs, hammocks, cooler, coffee and coffee expreso maker, filtered water are provided as a standard. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, living room and a kitchen island. Down stairs guest with accommodations for two can enjoy their separate space with queen size bed kitchenette, full bath, private entrance and patio with sea and mountain views. We are thrilled to offer you the opportunity to enjoy our swimming pool 12ft wide x 35ft long and with a depth of up to 8ft! Therefore, we want to emphasize that children must always be accompanied by an adult who can provide assistance in the event of a water emergency. Their presence ensures a higher level of safety and quick response when needed. In addition, to ensure the safety of all guests, we kindly request your cooperation in following these important pool rules: 1\. Shower Before Entering: Please remember to shower before entering the pool. This helps maintain a clean and hygienic swimming environment for everyone's enjoyment. 2\. Children Must be Accompanied: For the safety of all children, those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. An adult's presence ensures that immediate assistance is available in case of a water emergency. 3\. Enter Feet First: Always enter the pool using the "feet first" method. It is crucial to prevent accidents and injuries, especially in areas with varying depths. 4\. Swim with a Friend: We strongly recommend swimming with a friend or family member for added safety. Having someone by your side can be invaluable in the event of an emergency. 5\. No Alcohol or Drugs: Please refrain from swimming if you have consumed alcohol or drugs. These substances impair judgment and coordination, posing a significant risk to your safety and the safety of others. 6\. No Diving: Diving into the pool is strictly prohibited. Diving can lead to severe injuries or even fatalities. By adhering to this rule, we can maintain a secure environment for everyone. 7\. No Glass in Pool Area: To prevent accidents and injuries, we kindly request that you avoid bringing glass items into the pool area. Opt for plastic or non-breakable containers instead. 8\. No Running, Jumping, or Horseplay: Please refrain from running, jumping, or engaging in horseplay around the pool. These activities increase the risk of accidents and jeopardize the safety of all pool users. Please note that Juanka, our pool maintenance service provider, will be visiting the property every Wednesday to clean the pool. To maintain safety during this time, we kindly request that you vacate the pool deck while the cleaning process takes place. This typically lasts around 30 minutes. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. Our swimming pool is a saltwater pool, and we strive to maintain water quality with minimal chemical usage. This approach ensures a more pleasant swimming experience for our guests while prioritizing safety and environmental considerations. \*\*\* Guests must avoid walking on the pool external side since there is no safety railing. \*\*\*The switch for the pool lights is located besides the outdoor shower. Please make sure to turn the lights off if no one is using the pool to avoid bugs from entering the pool at night. STAINLESS STEEL OR STAIR RAILINGS Guests must not step nor climb on the stainless steel or stair railings to avoid accidents. The house had excellent amenities, and the view was spectacular at sunset and sundown. Everyone was raving about the swimming pool. The home is so close to the beach and has lots of activities and places to visit nearby. The owners were very responsive to all of my emails and questions. Hector was available at a moment's notice if needed. I highly recommend you stay at Casa Sandía. 10/10. ##### E R. I stayed in this property with my 8 children, ages 9-18\. We were new to the island and visiting friends near Patillas to provide help with their church's summer VBS program. Casa Sandia was an absolutely perfect place for our stay. The hosts were proactive and quickly responsive throughout our time in the home. The home itself was very tastefully appointed, has been recently updated, and includes a beautiful grounds with fruit trees, yard, pool, and jaw dropping views of the mountains and ocean. The kitchen and bedrooms included generous amounts of supplies, soft linens, bath towels, beach/pool towels, Tempur-Pedic mattress toppers, and every kitchen utensil we needed. The pool also included a box of pool floats and toys and the nearby laundry room helped us pack efficiently on the plane and keep our limited amount of clothing clean for our entire stay. Even though we arrived after dark, Hector met us with warmth and helpful suggestions for grocery shopping and finding our way around the area. The house is even more beautiful and comfortable than described! When we stepped outside on our first morning, the views took our breath away. We kept searching for more words to describe our experiences (lovely, stunning, amazing, beautiful, unexpected, etc.). We were charmed by the rural surroundings, including horses, sheep, roosters, dogs, and even a pig! The mango tree in the yard provided yummy fruit for breakfast and mango smoothies in the afternoon. We enjoyed several local restaurants and grilled out on the patio for our last evening together.
