Cozy riverfront cabin on Ossipee River
Nestled among the trees along the Ossipee River, this new, clean log cabin includes the use of our tandem kayak. Or just sit by the fire and watch the river go by.
Just a 12 minute drive to shops and dining in quaint Cornish. Day trip options are endless: Portland, Sebego Lake, Ogunquit, Lake Winnipesaukee, Portsmouth, the White Mountains, Kennebunkport ...
Downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, and brew pub tours will keep you busy during the winter months, when you’ll come home to an easy-to-use wood stove and full kitchen.
The cabin is small and cozy, ideal for one or two couples (although we’ve had plenty of guests sleep on the futon.)
The master bedroom includes a king-sized bed, while the second bedroom features a bunk bed. Two guests may sleep on the futon.

This cabin was a great escape. It had everything we needed in a small space. We enjoyed the location right by the river. We have already booked another week in October.
Relaxing clean cabin to enjoy watching the river flow by and spending time reading, kayaking and enjoying the firepit at the river's edge.
Although the outside temperature was about 90 degrees we were able to be cool enough inside with just the fans provided and really enjoyed the cabin.
My boyfriend and I alway do little getaways here and their to find some peace, this place was all that we needed for a nice relaxing weekend, the cabin is cute and has alot of character, we loved the painted rocks all around the property and even painted my own to leave their, we went out too kristas restaurant our first night and it was delicious! I would consider coming back here again!
This is our second time staying at this fabulous. Little cabin nestled in the woods and it was just as good, if not better than the first year. Everything was clean and comfy. All the amenities you need from the shampoo to the towels to the sheets.
We thoroughly loved this little cabin! The setting was beautiful and the little marks left by previous guests was one of the highlights of the stay. My kids were already asking to return before we left and I'm hoping we can!
Owners were terrific and readily available.
Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!!
Delightful Maine getaway. All we could have hoped for
A cozy and well kept cabin with all needed amenities and then some. Had of the feel of being away from it all whilst still being near places to go and eat. Beautiful property situated along the Ossipee River. It was great to spend a day making breakfast, enjoying a fire and hanging out. Hope to be back before long.
Nice way to spend some quality time with family. The snow played spoilsport, but the cabin was well stocked with firewood and the fireplace was the perfect place for family to sit around and enjoy. Kudos to the owner for having thought of every small details in and around the cabin.
My husband and I had such a relaxing stay. The cabin is clean and cozy. We loved sitting around the fire pit while enjoying the view of the river. Everything is close by. We ate at the restaurants suggested by owners Krista’s and Fairgrounds pizza and pub and the food was delicious. We also went hiking at Burnt Meadow Trailhead. Amazing stay.
What a wonderful little cabin with so many day adventures all around. Unfortunately the weather did not allow us to do much at the cabin during the day until the last day. That evening we were able to sit down on the dock and read and just enjoy the peace of the river
Lovely place for a quiet, relaxing weekend! Nice cabin with everything you need. Grocery store and a few restaurants are nearby, and the kitchen at the cabin is well equipped. River is pretty rocky and isn’t great for swimming, but is perfect if you just want to relax by the water, put your feet in, or fish off the dock. The view of the river from the cabin is awesome. The hosts were very nice and check in/check out were super easy. Definitely a place we’d love to come back to!
The property was perfect and exactly as listed. The location made it seem secluded, but was close and easy to get to town. It also made seeing all the things we wanted to see easy day trips. Teresa and Dave were excellent by getting us check-in information timely, leaving a welcome note, and letting us know they would be available if we had any questions or problems. We loved it and would definitely consider this again if we would return to Maine.
We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It had everything we needed. We didnt even have to buy food for the cabin.
8 mins from Cornish which has several restaurants. The outdoor speakers and lighting is a nice feature. Plenty of firewood. Quiet neighborhood. Owner was very responsive.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The quaint, well-stocked home was clean and warmed by a very efficient wood burning stove. The view of the river right outside was beautiful. This very warm home provided a welcome escape from the city for a few days. I imagine it would be all the more enjoyable in the summer. Theresa, our host, provided a concise, clear instructional email on all the workings of the house, as well as local restaurant recommendations. Very enjoyable experience.
My wife and I were in Maine looking to buy a vacation home. The cabin was
the perfect spot to relax after hectic days of viewing homes. We were here during the off season but managed a bonfire one evening. This riverfront rental would be absolutely perfect for a summer vacation filled with kayaking, cookouts, fishing, and just lounging around watching the river flow by. The outdoor speakers were a plus and added to our night by the firepit.
What a wonderful cabin! The owner was very responsive and left excellent instructions for checkin and out. The cabin itself is amazing. The footprint is so well laid out. An excellent use of limited space. The water heater is amazing, as we never ran out of hot water. Skylights make the place seem even bigger. The river does run quite rapidly, so we didnt try the kayaks. If we had more time we would have. It was such a comfy and cozy place to stay. And we were able to take a daytrip to Mt. Washington from the cabin. Thanks for sharing your cabin.
The cozy riverside cabin getaway far exceeded pur expectations. My girlfriend and I decided to have a winter getaway from South Florida for a little bit and we were definitely not disappointed.
The attention to detail concerning the interior of the cabin, and cozy atmosphere, to the location in the small, quaint town of Parsonsfield, the cabin to impress anyone staying there.
We were even fortunate enough to have 8 inches of powdery snowfall on arrival at which time we went outside and played like children, to include building a snowman.
The simplicity of the check-in procedures and detailed instructions for check out, are a testament to Teresa and Dan’s attentiveness toward their guests.
We will definitely be back.
Thank you again Teresa and Dan
Fantastic getaway for my wife and I….amazing very clean rustic cabin right on the river with a Woodstove as the focal point inside that kept us nice and warm for 2 days…..will absolutely be going back
