"Great stay! The unfortunate element is that the hotel does snot recognize a USA passport in it’s entirety for IVA (Ecuadorian Taxes) purposes; unlike Hilton or Marriott properties it has a loop hole where in the passport it has to show the naturalized citizens was born in the USA regardless (as in my case) where I live in the USA for all of my 50-years of life except for 5 years. Eventually, this IVA can add up if I stay for two weeks or longer which is what I usually do. As far as the hotel, it meets all USA 4-star standards when it comes to amenities, staff, location, and miscellaneous. Great Hotel. I will return."
