"I received several emails from the hotel, but I think the instructions for checking in could have been more helpful. Maybe I missed it, but I don’t remember reading that I had to drive up to the main building to check in and get keys. And I don’t think it was clear that I had to scan my key after 10pm to gain entry into the building. And when I checked in, I was charged $58 (not $40) for resort fees. I was told that Hotel.com never gets the fee right. Other than that, the condition of the room was very nice. Tasteful, updated and had what I needed for my stay. The TV kept freezing up, but it was ok. I would stay here again. Hopefully next time, I have time to visit the restaurant."

"The location on Long Beach Island was exceptional and being right on the beach was wonderful!!! The staff was very hard-working; attentive and friendly. Shout-out in particular to Josephine at front desk whose bubbly, warm personality and attentive professionalism made a positive difference that added to our stay. The room was definitely NOT worth the price we paid - it should have been wider and have a much bigger bathroom and more than one outlet. The carpet needed replacement (very stained). The food & drinks at the restaurant/beach bar were fabulous (we did not need to go elsewhere to eat & drink). The outdoor pool was useless to us since it was packed every day (starting early) with tons of kids. LBI is a place to visit on the whole solely for the beautiful ocean views and looooong beach."

"The house was clean and charming. The host provided a well stocked kitchen- we used the coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, and one of the pans for a burger night. The bedrooms and bathrooms were lovely and comfortable. The decor was welcoming and theme was of the ocean, which was beyond words beautiful. The deck was lovely, and the deck furniture was perfect. I loved sitting on the deck each morning to sip coffee and get the early morning sunshine. The Jersey shore is stunning, A lovely neighbor recommended Surf City beach, and we were overjoyed with how easy it was to park once we arrived. The living room was cozy as well. We hated to leave, and have already discussed returning to the area. Tuckerton provided Union Market for breakfast sandwiches, smoothies and coffee. Dockside was great too- hearty breakfast and live band. Our first night's dinner was at Surfside (byob), which did not disappoint. I purchased local honey and a homemade pie and salad at one of the local shops. We also enjoyed using the kayaks. We all had a wonderful visit, and would love to go back again."
Serenity at the Shore - on the water & close to Long Beach Island

"A peaceful quiet place on the bay. The only negatives were there were a lot of stairs so if you were bringing up groceries or heavy suitcases or if you had an elderly person in your group or an elderly dog, it was a lot to get up and down every day. Other than that, it was about 28 minutes to the Long Beach Island beaches seven minutes to a grocery store a quiet street to take a walk on and beautiful sunrise and sunsets."

"Everything about the house was as advertised, and then some. Clean rooms, and plenty of them, spacious living area, great kitchen, along with three spacious decks if you feel like hiding from the sun a bit. Quiet. Wonderfully quiet. Bay side is the way side. Close to everything. If you want to walk, fine. Acme and Fantasy Island are not a long drive if that’s what you want.Great house, great value, and Patty is a great host."
