Welcome to Miner's Loft at The Prospector, the coziest, cleanest, and most quaint studio loft in all of Park City. Perfect for that weekend getaway or a weeklong ski or mountain biking or hiking trip, this studio apartment comes with enough room to sleep up to 5 adults, including a King bed in the loft and a queen-sized pull-out sofa, and features a 55" TV on a pull-out swivel mount, fast Wifi, updated full kitchen with a 10 cu ft. fridge with freezer and a dishwasher, electric fireplace, and a second-story deck with large sliding doors to bring in tons of natural light and make it easy to grab some fresh mountain air. Speaking of natural light, two skylights in the ceiling bring in a ton of natural light to the loft during the day while twinkle lights add the perfect charm at night.
The Prospector comes with a hot tub and pool, which are free during your stay, and offers a lot of paid extras, including a huge onsite performance gym (adult passes starting at $30), laundry room (you can pay via coins or an app), and even convention rooms for work events or private parties. Located a few minutes from downtown Park City and the slopes (1.5 miles) with quick access to Kearns Blvd and Highway 189, this apartment is also conveniently located near a number of restaurants just a short walk away. A bus stop is right outside the building, if you don't want to walk or deal with paid parking downtown!

Charming Little Condo
This condo turned out to work well for our ski trip. It is close to restaurants, shopping, and a short drive to the ski hill. The owner was amazingly responsive and the unit was clean and had a delightful feel. She helped us to get the furnace working. We liked the skylight in the loft, the great jacuzzi, and the fact that parking was so easy and right outside the unit. Not fancy, but oh so charming.

Nice, but not new
The Title of this place is "Miner's Loft, NEW LOFT! *Clean, Cozy, Modern Stay in Park City*" This place was a nice place to stay, however it is definitely not a new place. The shower and kitchen was dated and the wall AC unit looks like it is from the 1980's. Don't get me wrong this is still a nice place and a good location. It was just my wife and I. It had a comfortable bed and it provided everything we needed. If you are a light sensitive sleeper this place is not for you. It has two sky lights, one above the bed has a shade to cover it, however the other one does not which makes it bright in the morning. Overall we still enjoyed our stay and possibly would stay here again.

Summer getaway ?
Behind the scenes. First off it was 90 degrees inside when we got there. The A/C unit was an older unit and worked fine. The problem was the a/c unit is for a small area. It took over 10 hours to get it down to a reasonable temp. After the first day of a/c on and the sliding door open that night Finally it kept cool for the second day. Kitchen was all good. Great little fridge/freezer. No salt and pepper shakers but had other seasoning. Shower area. The shower head is place 5'6" from the tub. For anyone taller than that you have to duck to wash your hair. The loft area. The first night the bed was sinking in like a sink hole. The next day I had to lift the mattress up and fix the bed frame slats back in place. Not a big thing but as a client I shouldnt have to fix stuff like that. The loft was extremely hot cuz of the placement. Opening the skylight helped after the sun went down. Overall this place is set up for a winter getaway and for me fell short of what I expected to be a quiet vacation away from home.

Relaxing summer stay
This property is great and in a nice location close to everything in Park City. The loft bedroom was fun and the window up above the bed opens for a nice view of the summer stars. The bathroom is a little dated, but very clean and functioning. Would recommend this spot for a nice and convenient stay in Park City.

Great stay!
We had a great stay, the owners were very communicative and accommodating, the check-in process was a breeze as well. The unit was clean, and nice, we really liked the twinkle lights in the loft area. Mattress was super comfy too. Another plus was the unit is close to the pool and hot tub area which is also quite nice. We’ll definitely try to stay here next time we book another getaway in Park City.

Perfect overnighter
We love quaint little vacation stays. We needed a simple, inexpensive but decent place to stay overnight and this was perfect. It’s clearly an older and dated property, but the owners made the space very homey and darling. Fresh, modern decor throughout. We loved all the personal touches: the candles, the better than usual take home shampoo/conditioner pouches, the comfy couch, and plush bath towels that smelled so yummy! The loft upstairs with the bed was perfect and we loved the linens. Very organized; exactly what was pictured and what we expected. We didn’t spend much time as we were busy exploring but we’ll definitely choose to stay here again.

Stop over in Park City
On our road trip out west we had a one night stop in Park City. This VRBO worked out perfect as a place to stay. The hot tub hit the spot after an afternoon of fly fishing.
