The place itself was good overall. Has a nice bathroom and bedroom. Fireplace was great. It was overall clean, but there is this slight smell when u first walk in, not sure what it is. I had already paid for the trip in full and agreed to VRBOs terms and conditions. I complied because I didn't want to risk being 12 degree weather with my family and no place to stay, but I think this practice is unethical. At minimum, they should communicate in the listing that they have these requirements. Waiting until after they've received payment and the cancelation period has past is shady.
