It was absolutely not what we expected. We arrived and our room was not ready although I had received confirmation it was. Either way it was passed Check In Time (3pm / 1500). The woman I spoke to was completely unhelpful and kept telling me I was wrong and even tried to hang up. The cleaning crew and Hugo (tech) were the only helpful ones. Then the TV was not working, which i was going to be ok with but then the air was not working & they made me pay day 1 because I couldn't prove it said there was air. I was with a 1 year old and we absolutely could not stay. I am still waiting on my refund. The room was very clean and they let us do early check in free of charge. The kitchen was okay, but I didn’t have a frying pan. Our room was on the 3rd floor (not elevators) and we had heavy luggage, we got help on the arrival but on the departure we didn’t. There is not a scale to weight your luggage. It felt unsafe and unacceptable! Kitchen well equipped. Room was a good size (bearing in mind this is Paris) and had very good lighting even by North American standards. There are two metro stations nearby on different lines which makes getting around easy. The neighbourhood has multiple grocery and specialty food stores (bakeries, butchers, fish, cheese, wine). There is a school across the street but I can’t see this is a problem unless you are a late riser. We actually enjoyed watch the kids arrive and play in the yard. The only issue we had is that the electronic access info was not sent to our email as we had been told. Instead is was (apparently) sent to WhatsApp which we don’t use. As a result we waited, jet lagged, for an email that never showed up. It was resolved quickly once we worked out how to call Yays (in the Netherlands). Customers need more precise and detail information about this property before booking. Detail information such as if the property has no air conditioning, the building has no lift or elevator and not suitable for handicapped people. The room has two fans and it is hot and uncomfortable. The spiral staircase to the room is a challenge as well. I happened to have a disabled kid and it is a challenge to try to help her walk up and down the spiral staircase and also carry the wheelchair. There is no room service at all. Before we checked in, we got an email from Yays saying that we need to pay extra taxes... getting into the room would be problematic if your cell phone ran out of battery as it relies on the phone app to open the door.
