I thought it was a very nice hotel with a lovely courtyard and the staff were super friendly. It would have been nice to have a room fridge and coffee for the room. They did provide coffee in the lobby from Noon to midnight.

Room is very clean but small. Staffs are very friendly. Hotel has elevator. No coffe/tea in room but they provide it in the hotel lobby until 11:00 pm. Water is free 24 hours at lobby. Overall it’s a nice hotel for traveler on budget.

Good location to two metro stations, one being Gare de Lyon where we could catch trains for day trips. Close to plenty of good restaurants. Felt safe no matter what time of day we came in and out. Only complaint was that the AC wasn’t working, but the nights were cold enough that we left the windows open all night it was just fine.

We arrived and our room was ready, check-in was easy, we got good recommendations from the front desk for local restaurants, everything was as it should be. maybe the bathroom could do with a bit of refreshment, the housekeeper sometimes changed the towels and left cups, etc, but sometimes not, so a quick call to the desk got what we needed. the beds were comfortable, the window opened (!) to the morning blackbird chorus and everything worked well.

Conveniently situated a short walk from the Gare de Lyon with excellent transport options (bus, metro, RER). Charming and welcoming desk staff. Rather cramped presentation of a pleasant breakfast. One of the better Ibis hotels, but outrageously expensive for what it is!

Location Only good if you need to be near gare de Lyon Room:On the 7th floor. Had two dogs, so bit of a trek down to garden out back. Although we did ask for a garden room. Bathroom: toilet bowl badly positioned, so need to sit side saddle. Shower great but needs a good clean. Got stains towel on one of the towels. Garden out back: nice and great for the dogs. Family rooms are on ground floor, but not all in use? Staff: Needs more training in communication with guest. Answers were vague, and not productive. I get a better greeting in Lidl. Asked for wine opener and was told previous guests stole them? Staff need to learn from their mistakes. Staff need to smile more and say hello now and then. Stayed 3 nights, won't be back.
