Beds were comfortable, windows opened to let in fresh air and coffee machine and kettle helpful. The shower did not feel very clean . The shampoo was not changed once and was empty from the first day . The front desk team had a severe attitude and has no telephone manner . The bathrooms are internal and made the room smell like mould . Many drug users outside the post office building at the end of the road at night and makes you feel incredibly unsafe . Our first room had a wonderful balcony but the room itself smelt a bit musty. Our second room was downstairs so just had a window and there was scaffolding outside the for ongoing building works, so not so nice. The shower in this room did not have a holder up high so you had to hold it in one hand whilst showering which was a pain. Overall, we felt the hotel was pretty good for the price, but if the smell in the first room and the shower in the second were fixed we would have given 5 stars. The area around the property is okay, but equally not the nicest part of Paris.
