Nice, intimate hotel at a great price (for Paris) in a hopping neighborhood. Rooms and commons areas are very clean and updated. I’d note that the elevator is very small, as are the sink and shower, but these are minor issues in my book. Would definitely consider staying here again.

The staff were amazing and made the stay exceedingly pleasant. The property itself could use some sprucing up. As a diabetic a mini fridge would have been nice. Also USB ports charging and a Do Not Disturb door tag would have been appreciated.

The good: The front desk team is wonderful and very welcoming. The beds are super cozy, the shower is clean and nice (though tiny), and the €12 breakfast is a solid option. The bad: There was zero communication from the hotel that there is active construction right outside. I was woken up by nonstop drilling and noise at 7 AM during my July 2026 stay. The lack of warning was disappointing for an otherwise lovely hotel.

Especially the staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was exactly what we needed, the buffet looked very good, but we had already planned in advance to have our breakfast somewhere else - summed up: next time in Paris will probably lead us again to Hotel Mazagran. Merci beaucoup!!

The staff is the absolute gem at this hotel. Just lovely, helpful, engaging folks! Raphaela, Maxim, Karim, Farid, and the two ladies who attended to breakfast and room cleaning. All truly nice people! Check-in and out easy. Can store baggage free if checking in early or out late. Water and sodas for sale at a reasonable 1 euro fee. Very good location, walking distance to Port St Denis. Metro stop there also. Plenty of cafes and restaurants in the area. Lift to get to rooms on premise. Pleasant sitting area in lobby. Room was fair. Older building with window to street so some noise at night from busy area of St Denis. No air conditioning which was ok when we were there in late September but would have been a killer in preceding heat wave Europe had. Simple bathroom, corner size shower, no bidet. Amenities like shampoo, conditioner, hand soap provided. No room safe. Very small TV but we weren’t using TV’s. Breakfast in morning for a fee or just coffee if preferred. Hotel will be undergoing major renovations in January to April 2027 in which air conditioning will be installed, new elevator, breakfast area enlarged, foyer and check-in moved slightly down the street. Will be great after that in all ways and will stay again. 😀

Pros: Excellent location with a metro station just a short walk away. The room was very clean, with high-quality toiletries and a comfortable shower. Water pressure was good, and having a 24-hour front desk was very convenient. The staff were also friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Cons: The room does not have air conditioning, and during my stay the temperature reached 32°C which made the room super hot and a bit uncomfortable. The room was also on the smaller side, with limited space to open a suitcase, and there was no desk or chair for working or dining.

The room was ckean and looked like advertised. The staff were friendly and helpful. Only problem is that they have a plasic cover under the sheets and it makes you sweat all night and its very uncomfortable.

We had a nice big room, I forgot to ask for twin beds as I was with my daughter,but didn't matter as had huge king size bed, room was cleaned daily, no Acon But given A fan , staff were very polite & nice very helpful ,we did a lot of walking not always as close to big attractions but bus was great transport close by , laundry mat close by to wash clothes, which was great The area unfortunately made me feel a bit nervous, but as saying that nothing happened to either me or my daughter Just unfortunate it was a heat wave during our stay I feel I needed more time to really enjoy more of Paris, Lots of culture

Room was clean and kept to good standards during stay. The lift is a little bit tight 1 person and a suit case in size. Breakfast was basic continental style. Coffee was good. All the staff we interacted with were polite helpful and had great English. My only down side of stay really was lack of air-conditioning in rooms. During my stay the outside temp was 40+c and humidity. This ment room was hot and humid and the fan only pumped warm area around. I would stay again. In less hot time of year.
