Birthday treat

Posted 20-Jan-2018
Pros: Everything.
Location: If you fancy a break from the parks get the shuttle bus to the nearby shopping centre and aquarium. €5 return.
Beautiful hotel with very helpful and attentive staff. Tania on reception was very welcoming. Our room was very comfortable and for any Bambi fan the decor is perfect. The hotel grounds are gorgeous and the park are only a 10 minute walk away or there is a free shuttle bus every 15 minutes from outside reception. Looking forward to returning.

Very Disappointing experience

Posted 12-Jan-2018
It took three attempts to find our room first allocation didn't exist second key didn't work. Had to walk a v long way with lots of bags with no assistance. Room was very dirty door to cabinste under sink was hanging off plug socket was loose and looked unsafe. It appeared nothing was replaced from previous guests ie empty tissue box part toilet roll.... also had personal cups go missing when room was cleaned assume thrown away which is of concern if I hadn't put them in the bin then they shouldn't have been going through my things on the table and deciding what was rubbish very disappointing

Good location

Posted 27-Dec-2017
Sequoia lodge is an ok hotel in an excellent location. The room felt a little dated, but was clean enough! All of the communal areas seemed to be of a much higher standard than the room itself. For me the big draw here is the location of the hotel and it's easy walking distance to the parks - for that reason I would stay again, but I think it is a little pricy for what you get. At best I would say 3 stars.

Bureaucratic! We had to write down all the details you already had. Dreadful.

Close to the Parks

Posted 18-Nov-2017
Pros: I liked the decorations and the scenery outside of the lodges and the proximity to the parks.
Location: Disney Village (Downtown Disney), and both parks are a relatively short walk from the hotel.
The hotel was very nice and the staff very helpful. They offer a shuttle that passes by every 15 minutes or so to take you to the parks but you can also walk there in about the same amount of time.

Location location location

Posted 08-Oct-2017
Pros: The hotel is convenient and one plus was our security lines are much shorter then the main entrance because of the people coming in on the trains.
Cons: Better beds and cleaner rooms.
Disneyland hotels are nothing glamours anywhere in the world. They are basic places to rest up for a day in the park. We have been to Hong Kong, California, Orlando, Hawaii, and Paris it is like the twilight zone. We have stayed on property at all of these locations utilizing the top hotels down. All the same with some just closer to the actual park entrance. The experience will be checking in and the staff. Some locations have club level which elevates the experience or a princess room. This hotel is a convenient walk to the park entrance and that is about it. The early entrance was not worth it since several of the rides were closed or lines already had 60 min waits.

Hotel in walking distance of Disney parks

Posted 07-Oct-2017
Pros: Within walking distance of the Disney parks
Cons: Needs a revamp on the decor. Some staff need re-training. Improvement required with cleaning and also food.
Location: It is within Euro Disney, so good location for the parks.
We have stayed at the Sequoia Lodge before, so disappointed at how tired it is looking. There was an issue on our check in and the staff at that point were not helpful or sympathetic. The cleaning of the room whilst we were there was not the best - found a sweet wrapper on bedside table upon our return one afternoon! We only ate breakfast once in the hotel - it was not the best, especially for the price.

Well-themed, convenient, but basic, needs updates

Posted 25-Sep-2017 on Hotels
We stayed for the Disneyland Race weekend. Basic, yet so convenient! Loved It for Its lodge, woodsy style; so much better than the other Disney hotels. Needs some room updating; mattresses were worn or just too hard. Great bartenders!! So friendly. Check in was awesome too!
