The apartment is located in a typical Parisian building, a stone's throw from the Invalides, five minutes from the rue Cler and its market, very close to the Champ de Mars. The apartment with classic Scandinavian-inspired decoration has a living room facing south opening onto a courtyard / garden, an open-plan kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom with shower. Very bright, the apartment is located between two private courtyards / gardens, so there is no noise. You will appreciate its great calm and the lack of vis-à-vis.Travelers have access to the entire accommodation which is on the 3rd floor (no lift) of a small building with 2 through windows, direct view of 2 courtyards / interior gardens with trees and flowers. On the Left Bank, a few steps from the Seine, 10 minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower, between rue St Dominique and rue de Grenelle, in a residential and shopping area, quiet and one of the most protected on the map of security. Between large and majestic avenues, this district is that of embassies and ministries, with, on both sides, the green and airy expanses of the Esplanade des Invalides and the Champ de Mars. An ideal base for visiting Paris and satisfying your thirst for culture or for your business meetings: this district is indeed full of tourist sites and museums (Musée de l'Armée, Musée Rodin, the Eiffel Tower, the Grand and the Petit Palais with their temporary exhibitions, the Quai Branly Museum and its collection from around the world) and is close to major congress and exhibition sites. Access by metro (La Tour Maubourg, line N ° 8), by bus or by RER C to strategic points of the capital. It is also exceptionally quiet with serene courtyard views. The description of the small size is accurate. It was fine for a couple that packs light and if you only want to prepare simple meals. The decor is quite cluttered. It required a bit of closet rearranging to create usable space. The property manager was responsive for the most part. It was a bit confusing that they list on VRBO but take payment on a separate platform. Check in was easy with an agent to meet us there upon arrival. The living space is tiny (more than 2 people would be tight), but it's all you need to put your feet up after a long day. And the bed is incredibly comfortable to get rested up for your next day of exploring Paris. I can't say enough about the location, though. The area is completely safe, there are cafes and boulangeries within easy walking distance, and the metro is just around the corner to give you access to the rest of the city and its sights. Our breakfast of fresh fruit and croissants every morning came from the local streets. We had a little trouble with payment but that had more to do with our banks not talking to each other than the owners. Our contact Abigaëlle was responsive and helped us work through the issues. The only difficulty we encountered was a mix-up with the on-site host that resulted in a worrisome delay at check-in. Not a big deal compared to the overall experience. I recommend "our Paris apartment" for absolutely anyone looking for a centrally-located home in the heart of Paris! ##### Bradley S. Small apartment but very efficient use of all the space - never felt cramped. Beautiful large windows overlooking two inner courtyards. Wonderful sunshine in the afternoon. Very quiet apartment - slept great! Easy to communicate with the owners. Was able to check in early which we greatly appreciated after our long flight. They helped me book a taxi to the airport. Perfect location to easily explore Paris!! My daughter and I enjoyed our stay here. We climbed the Eiffel Tower, took an electric bike tour of the city, enjoyed the view from the top of the Arc de Triomphe, took the rooftop tour of Sacre Coeur. The good: Excellent location, lovely views from both windows, excellent WiFi and good hot water when it was on (we figured out how to reset it when it turned off by itself!). Bed was comfortable. The young man who checked us in carried our bags up and that was awesome. The not so good: Only one key for two people so we couldn't go out independently. Shower backed up and was very slow to drain as did kitchen sink. Very small towels, bring your own bath towels if you care about that stuff. The couch and sofa are pretty shabby, and there is no good place for two people to eat together. Overall: We had a great time and the location is amazing. ##### Tamar T.
