More than three months ahead, we booked this apartment property for 12 nights, and then the proprietor forgot about us, leaving on holiday himself. There was no communication in the days leading up to our arrival in Paris (we were traveling elsewhere in Europe), and no answer when we called. We arrived on site, hoping that they would greet us. But it was not to be. Thankfully Hotels.com took care of us. We've successfully stayed in private properties in other cities. So this is just a warning to be careful when reserving such properties. We will definitely be more proactive earlier should we book another private accommodation in the future.
