Beautiful place, giraffes, zebras walking around in a widlife estate. Very friendly staff.

great hotel to stay enough close to Kruger park

We were warmly greeted by a young female member of staff.. helped us get luggage to the room. Nothing like a smile from people to make a great first impression. Room was good. Aircon didn’t work but weather was cool anyway Breakfast was really great and made so by happy staff.

place was awesome and had a great time and peace of mind

Will be back on a family trip in September 22.

It is a very good property. Had a decent choice of food and drinks (not vegetarians). The room size and view was very nice. The comfort level was high. It definitely lives up to the expectations of a Marriott hotel.

Wonderful place. We had an absolutely amazing stay, from start to finish. Saw every kind of animal and the guides and staff could not be faulted. The food was incredible as well, and nothing was too much trouble.

At the lodge, the staff were extremely helpful,...

I’ve stayed at many 5* hotels, but this lodge is far more superior than any of them. The team are AMAZING, Azaria and Milton, our ranger and tracker were unbelievable and so committed to help us track down what we wanted. Kulani the waiter was an absolute delight. Not a single day did I ever see him not smiling. The housekeeping team would make the rooms up three times a...

I should preface this review by saying that I am a professional wildlife photographer. I have stayed at dozens of safari lodges both expensive high-end and ‘budget’, all over Southern and East Africa. The Blyde River Canyon Lodge is great. While not exactly a safari lodge as such (it’s not in a true wildlife park) the architectural style is very ‘safari chic’ using a lot of local natural materials and thatched roofing. It is very close to the ‘Panorama Route Drive’ and the spectacular Blyde...
