We were a family of 4 couples and 2 children aged 4 and 7\. The house was set up well as the the family with the kids had the downstairs rooms (each with a bathroom). with a tv and games. This was great for early morning play time and tv. All couples had lovely bedrooms with private ensuites. Having a washer and dryer was great too.. The kitchen was very well equipped and had all the needed equipment for cooking meals for a crowd. .We got groceries in Calgary before driving up BUT the Sobeys in Invermere (30 min drive down the mountain) was fantastic - a little though. We participated in many outdoor activities as we had incredible weather and a TON of snow. We downhill and cross country skied . We snowshoed and we booked curling in the Invermere curling club- so fun! The Nordic Centre at Panorama is a quick walk from the cabin. The prices to rent gear for cross country skiing and snowshoeing we very reasonable. Downhill was pricey but worth it. We used the BBQ and the hot tub - under the stars with snow falling The set up of the cabin worked so well for us.
