She is an incredibly responsive host, and we truly felt like her guests. She greeted us with a bottle of local wine and even sent some fresh eggs round during our stay which were delicious!We were there during a heat wave which meant the air conditioning in two rooms (the bedroom and the lovely sitting area) was a welcome feature. There are no panoramic views, but you're staying in an olive grove. A provincial road runs alongside it, but we weren't bothered by it much. The location just beneath the wonderful hill top town of Panicale makes exploring both Umbria & southern Tuscany very doable. The million dollar view of the grove & surrounding hills from the sun room was a daily treat. Elisa has decorated the cottage with impeccable taste. We were there for a month & appreciated the deep monthly discount. If you go for only a few days, you will want to return for a month! The large bed is very comfortable & having a dish washer was a real treat. The location is not shown correctly on the listing map - it is even better! Elisa met us in town to show us the way there.
