Ok I will start with the good. The hotel room was very nice, roomy and clean. The reception staff were very helpful and the cleaning staff were fantastic. I accidentally left some cash in my room and the cleaning staff helped me "organize" it and placed it nicely on the desk. Please note that the reception staff can help book tours and ferries for you but those must be paid in cash. The hotel is in a perfect location,right on the beach in the center of all the action. Very convenient. Downside is that at night it can be noisy with all of the competing karaoke belting at full volume. My room was in the back so it was quiet and I could sleep. I recommend a room in the back building if you are a light sleeper. The restaurant on the other hand was not as enjoyable. The food was ok, but the staff really are not attentive and you have to wave them down to get their attention, except for Jude who was great. The wait staff really could use some more training.

Aloha Vida Beach Resort has the best food at the beach, even if you're not staying here I'd suggest you eat here. I ended up booking an additional night while I was staying there and they were able to keep me in the same room. I had a deluxe room on the third floor, even though it was a couple flights up it was the only room on the floor on that side of the building, (Room 9) I told the staff I was coming for my anniversary and they made the room up with flowers and balloons. Overall the staff was amazing and tended to our every need.

I would stay at Alona Vida again. It has beach access in a quieter area of Alona Beach. The room & furnishings are outdated but the air conditioner is new & the room is clean. There was always a big balcony in my room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The pool is a small kidney bean shape and good for cooling off in but noisy when busy. There is always live music in the evening.

The staff are super friendly, which is a bonus when travelling. Free breakfast was great, so we had it late, and now it was brunch. Lots of restaurants to choose from for dinner, or the hotel has a great menu. Lots of vendors on the beach to offer their services for day trips, boats or by land. This Hotel is not big and not a 5 star Hotel, but it should be it is right on the beach the staff is amazing the room is very nice the restaurant is very good and also they serve a very nice breakfast. Best place to stay in Panglao

Very clean, very friendly staff, great free breakfast, avoid the Alona Burger! It has a added ingredients in the Pattie’s to make it look bigger? It doesn’t taste like real beef. Overall, I think it’s one of the best place to stay in Panglao.

The resort is a bit of a hike along sand but if you have heavy bags porter will help. Location is great. Beach there. Plenty of options for eating out. Tours everywhere. Cleaners are great. Pool is lovely. Room spacious. All facilites there with plenty of room to spread your luggage & hanging space.
