The layout of the home is fantastic. There is a h kitchen, living, and dining area that made it easy for everyone to gather, relax, and spend time together without ever feeling crowded. The kitchen was one of the best-stocked we’ve ever seen in a rental. It had everything you could possibly need, from pots and pans to a crockpot, mixer, shrimp boil pot, and tons of Tupperware, perfect for a large group that enjoys cooking. The outdoor setup was just as great. The grill was a big plus, and we really appreciated the abundance of towels available for the pool. The pool is right across the street, very nice, heated, and a great spot to hang out. The home itself was very comfortable, and we appreciated all the thoughtful touches like plenty of hand soap, dish soap, and starter supplies for laundry and dishes. We loved the golf cart. It made trips down to the beach at Deer Lake State Park so easy and fun. The beach access there is incredible: peaceful, not crowded, and perfect for relaxing and enjoying beautiful sunsets. The location couldn’t be better. Being directly across from The Big Chill was such a bonus, steps away from food, drinks, and entertainment. The only minor downside is that the house sits right off 30A, so there is some traffic noise when sitting outside. That said, it didn’t bother us much and definitely didn’t take away.
