"The property was very close to Upham Beach Park and close to restaurants and shops. The check-in was confusing. There was no staff in the office when I arrived and I had to phone the resort and speak with someone who may or may not have been at the resort. A text was sent with directions on how to check-in to the property. The keys for the units are on a wall near the office and a code was sent to open the locked-box (like a realtor would use) to enter the room. I requested two parking passes and only one was in the room. I texted the resort and was told they would contact a team member for another pass and it would cost me $25. Eventually, a pass was delivered. The unit itself was nice--a one bedroom unit with a king bed. It seemed a little dated with a recent refresh and was clean. The safe in the room had no batteries so I could not use it, the toilet would run occasionally and upon check-out, I spoke with a person that was working about it. Beach chairs and umbrellas were available, however, the chairs were really rusted. Since I live in Florida and my friends were visiting, I had chairs in my car for us to use. There a two pools on the property, which were nice. There was cornhole, but we only saw one board."

"My wife and I stayed here for a quick overnight beach trip and enjoyed ourselves! There was an excellent brewery within walking distance, about a mile walk to a nice beach, and the pool was a nice way to end the day. The room was mostly clean, but maybe could have used some more work on that front. That is my only complaint, and a minor one at that. Being able to check into our room without ever having to go to a desk was fantastic. We didn't have to wait at a desk forever trying to get a key due to poor staffing like I typically experience at chain hotels. If we are back in the area, I would consider staying here again!"

"All Ana’s all it was a very nice stay. The accommodation were nice and the only issue this the water pressure to the kitchen and bathroom sinks were weak. The ground were cleaned the pool was pleasantly well maintained. Finally, if there’s a reason I wouldn’t stay at this hotel/motel is that they advertise a $75 cleaning fee and I was charged $85 and I was supposed to receive 20% off of my third night which I did not receive but all in all very nice day. Might do it again if we can work out some of the differences."

"We were thoroughly thrilled w our stay at the Bilmar Beach Resort. It is an older hotel that was renovated after the hurricanes. It's on a gorgeous, quiet piece of beach along the Gulf. There are plenty of Adirondack chairs to sit in, showers, 2 nice clean pools with chairs to lay out in, even bikes to borrow for the day. Our room was clean, bathroom newly renovated and the fluffiest towels we've seen in a hotel in a long time! 'Free beach chairs' were crappy and only 1 ice machine worked on the 4th floor but that was the only thing we were disappointed w. We'll DEFINITELY be back soon!"
