Serena Boutique Hotel

"Great"

Marina de Salinas

10/10 Excellent

"I had a wonderful stay at Marina Salinas! The property was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and in an excellent location. The on-site restaurant offers beautiful views of the marina, while the fantastic bar overlooks the ocean, creating a perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy a drink. The pool also features stunning ocean views. The service was outstanding, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The combination of cleanliness, excellent service, beautiful views, and a great location made the experience truly enjoyable. I highly recommend Marina Salinas to anyone looking for a relaxing waterfront getaway. I would definitely stay here again!"

1912 Boutique Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"We had a very pleasant stay at 1912 Boutique Hotel. The room was spotless, spacious, and comfortable, with excellent air conditioning and an exceptionally comfortable mattress. The property looks just as advertised, and the photos accurately represent what guests can expect. The bathroom was also clean, and the room was well equipped with a microwave, coffee maker, coffee, creamer, cups, and dishes—everything we needed for our visit. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Parking is on the street rather than in a private lot, but we were fortunate to find a spot directly in front of the entrance. A few small improvements could make the experience even better: providing complimentary bottled water in the mini-fridge and improving the shower's fixed glass partition to reduce water splashing onto the bathroom floor. Neither issue detracted significantly from our stay. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and found the hotel comfortable, welcoming, and well suited to our needs. We would gladly consider staying again."

OCEAN VIEW VILLA WITH PRIVATE POOL ,STEPS FROM SECLUDED BEACH, GATED COMMUNITY!

10/10 Excellent

"Absolutely stunning home and an amazing location. We traveled here as a family with grown adult children and had absolutely wonderful day. The house is just like the photos if not even better there was a starfruit tree in the backyard and the fruit was delicious. The air-conditioning worked great and the screens really helped in the kitchen area with fans to keep the mosquitoes away. The only thing I would say is the check-in code to get through the gate and the contact information is wrong. The host said they sent instructions separately, but I did not receive them and they did not check in with me through the app to make sure I received them and unfortunately the phone number on the app did not work. When we arrived at around 9 PM at night, we could not get through the gate. Fortunately, the person that was on the phone number on the Vrbo app. Instructions did answer and we eventually were able to get through. So I would just say simply be sure that you have your accurate check-in instructions and check in with the host and hopefully they will update their phone number on the appThere was a scheduled maintenance with electricity, and the whole neighborhood had no electricity for the day. The house has a really great generator unfortunately it does trip easily and so I would also make sure the host tells you how to get the generator running again because that’s very simple, but unfortunately, we had to wait quite a while for the maid to come and show us how to get it goin"

Casa Boni Guest House, Vista única al lago de Carite.

10/10 Excellent

"Casa Boni was so peaceful and came with a beautiful view! The sounds of the Coquis at night were so calming and helped put our family to sleep - and the roosters in the morning were like clockwork and sounded much better than an alarm clock LOL! The access to the lake was a wonderful 5-minute walk leading to another amazing view. The neighbors were so friendly and so were their pups Poncho and Pancha (Pancha greeted us every morning and evening, so sweet!). Our host was so kind and was able to be reached with no issues and check-in was so simple! The only downside I would say was that there is no dryer, so you’ll need to be creative and timely when planning your clothes washing to give them time to air dry - but watch out, the rain sometimes sneaks through and gives a short, but beautiful downpour here and there, so watch if your clothes are out! :). Overall our family enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back!"

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Palmas?

The best area to stay in Palmas, Puerto Rico, is within the Palmas del Mar resort community.

Palmas del Mar is a sprawling, gated resort community located on the south-eastern coast of Puerto Rico. It's a self-contained destination, offering a wide array of amenities including two championship golf courses, a tennis centre with over 20 courts, a marina, and a private beach club. The community is well-maintained with manicured landscapes and an extensive network of golf cart paths, making it easy to get around.

Families often find Palmas del Mar ideal due to its comprehensive facilities. The private beach club provides a lovely setting for swimming and sunbathing, and there are several swimming pools throughout the resort. Many accommodations are condominiums or villas, offering more space than a typical hotel room, which is great for families travelling with children. The community also features a equestrian centre and various dining options, suiting different tastes and preferences.

For couples seeking a relaxing getaway, the quieter areas within Palmas del Mar, such as those near the golf courses or overlooking the marina, offer a serene environment. They can enjoy leisurely rounds of golf, spend an afternoon at the tennis centre, or simply unwind by the pool or at the beach.
