It is not plush, but is simple and bright. Lovely tiled floors throughout the lobby and the rooms. Our ocean view was wonderful, and the patio where breakfast is served and where one can have a drink in the evening also has a spectacular view. The staff is pleasant and helpful. I would recommend this property to others. It is also very well situated- you can walk to everything (although be aware that the island is very hilly!). The hotel offers a service to help you bring your luggage down to the port. Beyond expectations for a host, and in itself worth a 5 star review.La Forna, which is a short taxi from the port is like a quiet village with everything you need (cafe/bar, restaurants, pizzerias, grocery markets etc). We were very happy with our decision to be in La Forna as it felt like being a local and a lot less touristic. We only hope we can return one day, and certainly recommend anyone coming to ponza to stay here.
