We want you to feel confident when renting a TRAVLR Vacation Home. As a result, we have enhanced some of our cleaning procedures in the interest of our Guests' and Employees' health and safety. Currently, we spend between 4-16 working hours to clean each rental property after every reservation and have enhanced our check-out cleaning procedures to pay close attention to all details, specifically disinfecting all surfaces with anti-bacterial solutions. We frequently change all HVAC filters and clean pools twice weekly to help ensure optimal cleanliness as well. Our vendors and staff are equipped with protective gear such as face masks and gloves to maintain the safety of all parties. This fee is not included on Airbnb bookings. WHAT IS PROVIDED WITH MY ACCOMMODATIONS? All of our vacation rentals are furnished and have a kitchen with amenities including a microwave, coffee maker, toaster and blender. Each property is stocked with cooking and serving items including plates, bowls and utensils, as well as a can opener, corkscrew measuring spoons and more. The coffee maker takes ground coffee and we also offer a spice rack, salt and pepper. There are bath towels, pool towels and bed linens. We also provide an initial supply of trash liners, toilet paper, hand soap and dishwasher soap. Bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner and liquid body wash. Laundry facilities are also equipped with laundry soap and dryer sheets. CAN I SHIP A PACKAGE TO MY VACATION HOME? We do not recommend shipping directly to the home, we do not have mailbox keys, and there are many different people with access to the home: vendors, housekeeping, Guest Services staff, etc... so we cannot be responsible for packages once delivered. DO YOUR HOMES HAVE OUTDOOR MUSIC SYSTEMS? Yes! The entire property both inside and out is filled with speakers that are setup in different zones so you can enjoy it wherever you are and even have different music playing in different areas. To use, simply download the Sonos app and connect to our Wi-Fi system. You can then control your music from Spotify, Apple Music and more. Due to city regulations though, the outdoor music speakers will not work between the hours of 9PM and 8AM (the indoor ones will though). Please note that bringing your own outdoor speakers is strictly forbidden unless pre-approved by management and could result in a $5000 fine from the city of Palm Desert. DO YOU ALLOW PETS? The yard is beautiful and secluded. There is lots to do around the property and the beach volleyball court was a hit. We loved the mountain hikes that are right off the property. The hosts were very responsive and we were able to sort out anything we needed. The property is in an excellent location very close to lots of shopping. This was our group's second time staying at Base Camp, and we were so happy to come back. The tranquil vibe captured the essence of our retreat weekend. There were a couple bugs with the Sonos sound system and with the front gate but the company was sent out to fix the errors in good time. Overall had a very good experience and appreciated how communicative the team was. The home is beautiful and was able to fit our entire group comfortably. The pool and backyard area was perfect to just relax and enjoy our time. The only thing to be aware of is Palm Springs has very strict noise rules and this home is in a location where sound can travel. Even with that would totally book this place again and go back. "It is truly hard to put into words how perfect this home was for my sister's bachelorette, and how seamless the host made our stay. If you are hesitating at all, book now, you will not regret it! The home is exactly as pictured, if not better in real life. Jen and her team were impeccable hosts, always responsive and were so thoughtful, even leaving crumbl cookies for the bride at check in. If I had any concerns or questions, they were addressed within minutes, no matter the time of day. The property is private and safe but close to a Target and shopping center so it was truly the best of both worlds. We opted to hire the private chef one night and enjoyed an amazing dinner under the stars. We absolutely enjoyed our time here. The property itself is situated on a beautiful lot that backs up to private mountains. The home is stunning inside and out with beautiful design and very comfortable living areas. Both kids and adults spent time in both beautiful pools and we will definitely be returning at some point. "The house was perfect for our multi-generational family get together! Lots of communal and private space, not to mention all the fun games and amenities on site, from the hot tub and pools to the bocce court/ping pong table. Jen was very responsive to all our needs during our stay from providing softer pillows to quickly replacing a broken coffee grinder. She also recommended a private chef and other services prior to getting there - and that made organizing the trip super easy. The setting is beautiful, quiet and feels quite remote. Yet, whole foods, target and lots of restaurants are within 5-10 mins drive. We really enjoyed our stay and totally recommend this spot! We rented cars but barely used them because miles of hiking trails are right out the door. The weather was perfect and so were the pool and spa. With the volleyball and bocce ball courts and the fire pit it felt like a resort we never wanted to leave. So we really didn't! My only caution is to make sure the bathroom setup works for you. We were 4 families and the house never felt crowded. The casita rooms are in the garage conversion so that's something to be aware of. They felt a little removed and not as chic as the rest of the house. We stuck some of the older kids in there. The kitchen has literally everything you could ever need in terms of equipment and it was a pleasure to cook meals in. We also loved the outdoor grill. The neighborhood has a strict noise policy so this is not the house to come to if you plan on playing music past 9pm but we appreciated the quiet. The location is wonderful. We had a large group of adults & children but everyone had a comfortable bed to sleep in and places to gather. Everyone loved the pool & hot tub, volleyball court, outdoor fire pit, bocci ball court and close proximity to great hiking. The kitchen was large & fully stocked. The views from the backyard were exceptional. We felt like there were no other houses or people around us but yet we could walk or drive to restaurants & grocery stores nearby.
