Rooms were tiny. We paid extra for a larger room. I would hate to have seen the smaller one. Staff were excellent. Lots of building work going on so very noisy. Restaurant not open. Very few restaurants nearby were open. Would have been nice to be warned

This hotel is extremely well located, the room had a very comfortable bed and the swimming pool was beautiful. The staff are very nice and helpful. Although the cleanliness of floors, stairs, and carpets in common areas is acceptable, for a 5 star hotel it can still be improved.

La Chiusa is beautiful, staff are very nice and the location fantastic; views from the property and situated next to Montifollonico with access to grocery store, pharmacy and super local restaurant (13 Gobbi). Rooms had a fridge but no kettle, coffee maker or even cups or glasses which was odd and would make a big positive difference so that you can make a hot drink or sip your own wine while enjoying the view! If you’re a foodie you will love the onsite restaurant, but it is a limited menu so a couple of visits will get you through it, but there is so much within sprucing distance you’ll want to get out anyway - so hire a car.
